Best advice is to search sources that relate to your reading task so you can gain evidence that relates to your learning.

What are you studying if you don't mind me asking?

More of a reference to guide our response from the experience I suppose.

I spent the day going through catalogues of articles to suit certain aspects of my reflection, but I'm just feeling overwhelmed I think after sitting a 2 hour test online and cannot even begin to structure the reflection now. I think I need to just stop right now and continue again tomorrow.

Thanks for the advice I really did need it right now

Oh and I am studying primary school education. And I cannot work out a reflective report. Good luck to my future class at this rate

anyway ....... I did a stocktake today. I always stock up, at sale time, and well I am pissed off, 'cause I haven't stocked up lately ....
So, I am missing 21 pieces of undies!!!!!!!

I mean, where did they all go? Where have all the good ones have gone
Yep, the dog took them ........ all that lace, in the backyard - that I didn't realise was my precious pants!

I am devastated - I mean, if I was traveling, like @upallnight - that is what I would be packing this item big time.

I don't know what to do ................ Thinking I need a Big Sale ASAP

What is the best part of living in Perth?

When I lived in Perth (was over 8 years ago now) it was the great Beaches. Also, the ease to get to the city via Rail, from where I lived (10 mins)

I grew up in Sydney, and when I arrived in Perth, 23 years ago, it was like so Sydney, when I was a kid.
I haven't been to Perth for quite a few years now (living south from there) but I have been told it is a MAD house there now.......

Best thing about living where I do now?

I have a 24hr Kmart just up the road - not that is a huge draw card, but it is funny! (Who the hell needs Kmart 24/7????)
Having 4 Supermarkets - some operating 6 am to 9pm - 7 days, within a 10 min drive (no traffic lights @ 100 klms an hour - all the way)
Having a better than a Perth Beach close, not walking distance - but close.
Having a River, a stones throw from my back door
Being able to run my Dog, off her leash, most of the time.
Watching Black Cockatoos, rip apart my Liquid Amber Trees.

Worst thing (if you were asking)

Isolation from my dear family and deep rooted friends in the east

How does it work when you fly international which has larger luggage allowance and then you need to take domestic flights? Just have to pay for extra luggage? Or can you keep luggage to domestic size?!?

I have only ever been stung for extra baggage allowance once and that was in Madagascar. It wasn't much.

I regularly have a bag in to 20-30 kg range and haven't had issues. I guess it depends on the airline.

The best tip I can give is they rarely weigh the laptop bag. Put heaviest items in there and potentially don't even take the laptop, just the laptop bag, as you are allowed a bag and a laptop bag. American airlines in general are the least stingy on weight restrictions. I once got 60 kgs on a 20 kg ticket.

My number one piece of advice if travelling in the US is to be mentally ready to surrender your seat for a next day business class upgrade. It is standard practise in the US to overbook heavily. If the waiting terminal is full, hover near the desk and cross your fingers.

I found it was easier to just buy as you go. You can buy cheap clothes from markets and such and then just donate/dump them when you leave for your next destination. That way you don't have to worry about luggage sizes.

Yeah one important tip for travelling is, 'you can always just buy things there.'

It's more of an issue when you got off the beaten track a bit.

Africa, in South Africa, Namibia, Kenya you could buy anything in the cities. In a lot of other places you could not. I literally could not find bandages and had to make my own.*

*I slipped on a rock into Lake Malawi and scraped the top of my foot pretty bad. I over packed on bandages and still didn't have enough. I actually left out some big dressings by mistake in last minute package drama of too much stuff.



On this up coming trip. Things like wet wipes, do I take enough for a week, two weeks, a month. Little things like that which take up space and you may or may not be able to buy. Even toothpaste. Should I just take a small tube or a big one. Same with sunscreen deodorant, insect repellent and so forth.
