Oh my God!

I have prepped a beautiful meal of vegetarian linguine pasta in a creamy white wine sauce and my partner announces that tonight is his work Christmas dinner!

He swears he told me on Friday!

That's what I get for only listening to every second word...

What kind of morons hold a dinner on a Monday?

I've just watched first season and starting season two over the last couple of days. It's entertaining. Like not hilarious. But funny.

I heard it's the natural progression of Seinfeld and Curb Your Enthusiasm. Is that at all accurate? I need a new show to watch!

Yeah!

I think it gets better, especially when you get to know the characters. I'm on season 7 now.

I heard it's similar in the sense that there's very little character development, i.e. the characters start out as assholes and are assholes right until the very end. Also, situationally absurd, but still within the realms of realism. I'll have to actually watch the show though, as I only ever hear good things about it.
 
I just messaged my bestest friend in the whole world "When I see you face to face I have a secret that would make your pubes fall out, so you'd save money on getting a Brazilian wax before your holiday" and I didn't get a "FACETIME ME NOW" reply... she's changed! :P

Unfortunately I didn't. I couldn't even find any colour angel that I could try to dodgy up with some blue paint! I went to 15+ stores and all they had - if anything at all - were star tree toppers. I'm honestly wondering if they even make angels anymore! I have our normal angel that used to be my grandmother's but there's no way I'm messing with it and apparently she's unacceptable this year. As it stands now, my son cracked it because apparently "everyone" has a blue angel?! and my husband cracked it because the lights were a tangled mess as they are every year. So at the moment our tree is completely bare and everyone went to bed cranky haha. Ho ho ho!!

I haven't caught up with the thread yet but did you put a tree up yet? Or are you one of the wise ones who have realised it's pure insanity and are giving it a miss?
 
There are two things on channel 11 that are ridiculous. The Ashley Madison ad for one. Not an appealling ad at all and the promos for the nude dating show. If they are going to broadcast the show with the contestants bits rectangled out what on earth is the point for the viewing public?
