Yeah. Last year I went to Tonga to do some work in a school there with some teachers and in some weird way I felt like I was at home.

I have only been to Fiji and Rotuma when I was 4 years old. That's it.
I was engaged a long time ago and took my intended to Tahiti. It was a nightmare, she thought it was too hot! Been back twice alone thank Christ. I do Fiji regularly mainly to visit cbreak. people are lovely there. Tonga only once, because the surf wasn't good but again, great people, smashed on kava and smiles.

PE is overrated. Best to fly just under the radar until year 12, then take that yr 12 Dux prize like a boss. Good on her, you must be proud mumma.

Oh you think as she does! lol On the way home, she said the sport a side, I will slam it next year. I support her in her passions and if I can help with some of them, I am here for her. She's a DUX kid though. Received it last year in Yr 8. In year 9, did all extension work and was bored, hence them bumping her up to yr 10 mid year. She turns 14 next week. I am freaked out for her being in yr 11 at 14ys old.. she's not phased purely because she gets to choose the exact subjects she's passionate about. She's opted to take Maths C FFS... that shit is out of my league..lol

Kismet is being a bit Modest, the young lady also is self taught guitar/ keys, has perfect pitch, plays by ear. I have heard her. Lovely young semi adult

I'm glad to hear she can handle being bumped up. I didn't do year seven and went straight into year eight, which worked well for me in some subjects, but horribly in others, and then I went through my rebellious phase and sort of gave up on school (fuck the system, and all that), and eventually technically had to do year nine twice, ha. It kinda worked out though, because the second time around I did a lot better in my "horrible subjects" because I had already done them before. :roflmao:

I am happy to speak of her talents, but they really have zip to do with me. It's all about her focus and what she wants to do. How can a parent NOT support that?

BTW she's pretty too..lol that pisses a lot of people off for some reason.
