lol in the interests of peace and harmony, I played on this record for the studio pressing

It was pretty awful but the heart was there MON

Shit, there are way too many threads to catch up on, I can not even decided where to start...... #firstworldproblems.

I didn't come on here for a full day last week (*sigh* I went and got a LIFE, can you imagine?) and when I returned I was so overwhelmed by the amount of threads, I almost felt like crying.

Jake yanno we go back a bit, I think maybe that infodrop was a bit wrong but it is over now yeah?

Hmm tell me more..... I hopefully will be fascinated by your answer ✍️

I dunno, I just read a post that made me start thinking about "forum etiquette" which sorta spiralled into me thinking about the overall dynamics of this place, and also the way in which threads seem to play out. I don't know if you've noticed, but threads tend to follow a very similar pattern before they "die" and it's just really weird to think about the social aspects of that, because (and I hope this isn't going to sound awful and if it does just forgive me I've been fucking up all night tonight lol) there are certain forum members that I guess contribute to that pattern, and to the inevitable death of a thread. And I'm just so interested in why that is, and how it came about, and when.

lol I feel like I'm rambling (sorry) but yeah, I'm kind of obsessed with like, "social" things, and I always... not necessarily forget, but I "forget" that this place counts as a society in a way. I dunno, internet social stuff is just so exciting to me, because it's such a ~new thing, you know?

Everyone's talking about David v Priya and I can't contribute. :( It's even led to a depreciation thread for David which just leaves me wondering if it's straight-line, diminishing balance or units of production.

jake its not NEW to you you were brought up on it.

jake was chucked out how many years ago jakey?

Seven? Six? haha I know I was here for at least a year before I was kicked out. And then I was only gone for maybe six months. I can't really remember. I was thrown out for fighting once or twice after that too.

Well yeah, not technically "new" to me, but still "new" in terms of the bigger picture. And it's definitely evolved over the years into something a little different than what I was brought up with.

Very interesting stuff.

I do notice that a thread will start out then reach maybe 3 or 10 or even 20 pages, but not many "Make it" to the dizzing height of this thread ...... I need to keep a closer eye on these threads me thinks....... and try to work out who these people are they help kill certain threads.

And forum etiquette is a something that i personally will follow one day and the next I might be a bit of a cunt. Do you have any specific rules to your version of forum etiquette?

Why can't you contribute? Have you not see the episode yet?

And yes whoever started that thread, perhaps should chosen a better title.

This may or may not help, I am a surfer for lots of years More than kurt cobain, and we have a code (unwritten0 that code is being shat on. So...do we regulate...how to enforce etc etc...same here. I know for some I may sound hilarious given my position 10 years ago but I say self regulate and let people ustand that they have been a cunt etc.
wow that was a bit paleodiet
