Good morning Ning Nongs!

I have another delicious day off in front of me!

Got a coffee and a laptop in bed and pondering my choices for today, gym, shopping, walk on the beach or gossip telephonically, shopping, walk on the beach. At this point I am thinking telephone as opposed to treadmill...

Either way one thing I must do is make a pumpkin soup, my butternut needs to be used ASAP.
 
So got up this morning, feeling slightly better, get in the shower to get ready for a day, pick out an outfit for snapping necks and cashing cheques, then I became completely exhausted, boohoo

This whole having days off and still being able to get up and get lots of stuff done in my day just so isn't going to work, is it...

I went out for lunch with some friends (I know Im to sick for work but I go lunching :\) and this fem guy kept looking at me, made me uncomfortable, when you feel yuck and look yuck then someone looking at you, want a hole to open up (no not like that!)

Same! I often say that one thing I wish I could do that I can't is to sing. I'd love to be able to hold a tune. But sadly, nup. Nowhere near it. I'd just make your ears bleed.

That's why I lip sync instead. :)
 
On another note, I'm getting really distressed about Big Brother guys. Like, on a really irregular level, even for me.

The horror of last night has formed like a dread in my stomach and now with the ratings released and everyone's negativity and confusion and frustration, including my own, it's just giving me bad bad bad feelings about it all.

Me too!! It might sound funny but I always pictured myself singing to my children like mum used to, she can sing, not like she would make it past first stage of The Voice or anything, but enough for me as a kid to think it was amazing, and was so comforting, but I did not inherit that ;)

Doesn't sound funny at all! Music makes the world go round! Just marry someone who can sing ;) and play along on the bongo's or something! haha *images of your children dancing around you tribal style* :P

Don't laugh but KARAOKE was a bit part of my growing up. Sitting around the lounge with mum, dad, the rellie's - passing round the microphone. My fave was "Tie A Yellow Ribbon Round The Old Oak Tree". I can still remember the film clip! haha

Dad was the singer in my family. Mum is like you [MENTION=29803]mutleyp[/MENTION] & [MENTION=19441]the Theorist[/MENTION] :P Luckily I take after dad in that regard! hahaha
