General O/T Chit Chat Thread

Today is my regular "Laundry" day, i do during the week, but I do my majority today and iron etc for work Monday, at the risk of being called boring for discussing laundry, what tips can anyone give me for whites to get them WHITE again?

Sorry, no hot tips from me. I did white king once, and the clothes I was wearing at the time got quite splattered, plus some of the whites I was trying to brighten had a little motif on them, well, lets just say I ended up with quite a few rags after that!!!

Hmmm, today is my washing & ironing day too Mut - we seriously need to get a life!
Have you tried soaking overnight in Napisan or similar?

Anyways...

Oooh I have another suggestion - buy all new stuff! Much funner than washing.

Haha Yes! I have done this too, lots of bleach splatters!

:P but we wouldnt have good quality of life since our clothes would be dirty and creased ;)

YES! I do do this, but come Feb my budget is going to be tighter than a nuns ... well you know, so I thought I should trail some "mum" tips while I still can afford to replace ;)
