hahahahaha, poor Elmo spesh if he isn't actually guilty

hello coops, how are the chickens going?

...hey bonnie...

avatar30683_5.gif.jpg

...is that a Llama or an Alpaca or are they the same thing?... is it a pet or yours... and why does it have a 'comb-over'?... lol!... it looks like a nice animal... (you can tell me to mind my own beezwax if you like)... cheers.

Hey Mrstickyfingers. That is an alpaca, but not mine.
I have two but they are not that photogenic. They are being shorn tomorrow and I may ask the shearer to fashion a comb-over if he can. I am going to try to get a before & after shot of my boys, and they are indeed nice animals, very calm (though prob not tomorrow as they are hogtied & shorn & pedicured & needled). They are low-maintenance, this is just a once-a-year all-in-one makeover. Rest of the time they just eat grass and hum. They are sweet.:)

Can I say how I loved your photoshop stuff - hilarious!

LOL My sister's ex just won't take the hint. Lame arse texts her twice today to assure he doesn't have a new girlfriend (he does) like he's doing her a favour or something. Is my sis supposed to be jealous? He is deluded. We're hoping and praying he does have a new girlfriend. Somebody else he can drag around by her hair. Take a hint dude, she's just not that into you.

Geez the new g/f must be a thick as a brick. They do not change sweetheart. And what's with the texts? As if anyone gives a rats what he's doing now? Poor sis, hope she just deletes and keeps walkin'.

hello coops, how are the chickens going?

Chickens are having fun, just scratching & pecking around. No eggs yet, but the farmer said they are still young & it would have them a little bit to feel comfortable & settle in. Kids still race out of the car each arvo to go down & stare at them, then fight over who is going to carry the scraps down to them.

Cowie, sounds like you need to buy your sister a new sim card for xmas :( Have you ever noticed that people give themselves away by answering a question no one asked?

I dont think she's allowed. The police told her to block his number but she spoke to the domestic violence people this week about the family violence order and they said she isnt allowed to block his number. I would assume she would have to give him the new number.

Oh, is he the dad of your cute little nephew? If so, then yes, they still would have to have each others numbers :( well i'll ask for a Christmas miricale in that he grows up & he starts behaving like a normal civilized human being. It's good to know that you are there for your sister cowie. It must be tough for her, having left him to get away from his crap, and in a sense, he is still trying to control her:(

He has addiction issues. At best this is going to take three years in court. If he is lucky he'll get supervised access and mandatory testing. I think he seems to think by texting they'll bypass the courts. They were bypassing the courts but he kept turning up drunk and roaring like the feral he is so off to court it is.

Sad thing is the baby doesnt even miss him. Never mentions him but yabbers away about my husband all the time.

coops asked the question I was going to, and I had hoped the answer was going to be no.

Bloody awful situation she is lucky she has left him and has the law on her side and everything is being documented. You can at least be grateful for that. There are an awful lot of DV situations where the mum can't and won't leave and the the little ones get taken away by DOCS. Does this dirtbag know where you live? Does your sister have a safehouse to go to when he goes feral? How long had she been with him for? Does your nephew see dirtbags parents?

He drives past my and her house constantly. He knows all the places she's likely to go stay. I just hope when he does have the mental break that's coming he harms himself and nobody else. His whole family are feral but his dad visited last weekend, no doubt sent by the ex because he kept saying how the ex keeps crying and isnt drinking or taking drugs its so sad etc. ex's mother is violent and she'll never see him again if it goes to supervised visits because only he will be able to attend not him and an entourage.

These situations are heartbreaking Cowie.
Never an easy answer, such a horrible drama for your sister.
it's easy to make changes in your own life but you can't do anything to change anybody else, that's the part that stinks.
Hope it'll all work out for your sister and her little one, no one deserves to be treated badly.

Hi Cowie. Your poor sis. When my brother had this problem, he kept a cheap phone with a small amount of credit on it and gave that number to the feral ex. He got another phone for all other purposes. As long as he kept the feral phone charged and with him so he could be contacted in the event of an emergency by text only (so there was a record of it), he got a tick from his solicitor re: family law stuff. The texts were vile, and we logged them all so that when it went to court, he could prove she was a few sandwiches short of a picnic.

Hey roommate, stop talking, my one word answers should indicate Im not really chatty, and I certainly don't care about the rockettes.... thank you

LOL I resorted to grunting, I had work drinks from 3pm, I was buzzed, but not enough to pretend I found her inane dribble interesting! ;) How was the boys haircuts???

hahaha you have a way with words Mut. Won't ask why the rockettes are topic of the day or you will just grunt at me.

The boys look odd:( kind of like the lovechild of ET & a deer. They are svelte! Frank was impeccable, Kerry not so much, he squealed like a girl. Then they wandered around for an hour looking for each other (did not recognise each other sans fleece). After much bottom sniffing they decided they did actually know each other and are cuddled up now. Is not cold tonight but they will sure feel the difference.

Is there some fashioning of fringe? Do they take the wool to spin it or anything?

No fashioning, just a buzz cut for both. I was gonna ask but I felt so sorry for them, just wanted it to be over, Kerry was quite distressed. The wool is crap, local spinners club will take it to train the beginners but shhh don't tell the boys, they think their fleece is faboosh.
