Hey [MENTION=29803]mutleyp[/MENTION], don't be tempted to eat anything with dairy before your system is much better, one little mistake and you will be back to square one. Dry toast and sip fluids, take it nice and slow.

Thank you both!

Muppy gave me a nice little cup of perspective and with a new day comes a fresh breath.

I am going to take my experience of yesterday and help them guide me in my nursing techniques today.

I need to take that breath and realise confidence in nursing is built and it is built by laying one brick at a time. I am very lucky to work in a place that offers endless support and kindness, from the top down. I even had the DON come and give me some kind and encouraging words welcoming me to the team.

I think I was just overwhelmed at exactly how much I don't know. Thankfully I am surrounded by people who do know what to do and are happy to guide me. It is even more reassuring to know that I have you Muppy, my very own cyber mentor and RN advisor.

Got a day off today then I am on for five days. After weeks off work I will officially have worked 7 out of the last 8 days, ending on Australia day! Then I am going to enjoy dropping back to a .6 and a .2 doing social support for the aged.

There is never a bad time to buy jeans... particularly if you are replacing the ones you shit when that explosive diarrhoea hit.
