Uggh Sunday night being forced to watch the Big Bash with my partner in crime.
 
Argh hope you're ok @bleachy_dude - that's definitely an impressive wound! You should probably make your bro wait on you hand and foot haha.

So I decided to 'jump' off the JetSki while it was towing a biscuit (tube thingy) and the rope got me on the way past.

By jump, of course I mean fell off!!

Unfortunately I don't think it's deep enough to leave a scar, in the mean time I'm happy to soak up any sympathy wherever I can get it :p

My brother, who was driving, went as white as a ghost when he saw my neck in the water. I've only ever seen his face like that once before when he was the cause of crushing my thumb in a swing set when we were young kids. Nice to know he cares.

His name isn't on yr beneficiary list is it? I'd keep one eye open at all times when yr bro's around ... And if he gifts you a skydiving or rock climbing adventure for Christmas I say run for your life;)

I wanted to buy the one on ebay, but I just can't bring myself to pay $75AU for it!!

At least I know the name of it now, which will make searching for it much easier.

This week is a busy time for you I know. I think one of my favourite things about Jesus is the songs we sing about him at Christmas. Away In A Manger is my all time favourite. I hope you are enjoying the madness it must be to be a priest at Christmas Xo

Yep pretty busy. Just home from our Blue Christmas service which is for people who don't find this s season of joy. We'll be singing Away in a Manger at two of our services over Christmas. Boxing day will see me curled in the corner shivering with exhaustion. Actually it won't, and similar visiting the in-laws.

Yeah it's a bizarre description, I agree. Funny, because just yesterday my group of mates had been trying to decide what we would call it, some settled on lake but that didn't seem right to me.

I don't know what the difference between a lake and an estuary is, but from now on I'm just gonna say I'm going down to the youthful wave-dominated barrier estuary. Sounds fancy :p

That sounds like a lovely idea. I have just gotten home from MCing our church carols service. Was a lot of fun, I did speak briefly about how it can be a tough time for some. Great thing is that Jesus came to bring hope!
We played this video tonight, I found it accidentally on YouTube last week.

The ads on here are freaking me out. Bleachy, I imagine you to be the perfect hostess. I swear to god. Basing this off how you always reply back to posters and are just so polite in doing so... Yep perfect hostess I imagine

I enjoy MC-ing events. Perhaps I just like the sound of my own voice. Lucky for me, most other people seem to enjoy it also. Hehe.

I wish my memory was a lot better on here. I'm trying to remember if you participated in the voice thread, now I'm curious as to what you sound like

Oh no I actually hate the SOUND of my voice in reality.

I know a lot of people say that and that a lot of people mean it when they say it, but I REALLY mean it.

For some reason my recorded voice always sounds more nasal than I think I sound. Just the other day a friend was watching a video I recorded on my phone with me speaking in the background and she was like 'woah, your recorded voice sounds so different' which confirms it for me.

I did do a vocaroo thingy tho :p

I admit I only remember a few members voices :oops:. Pornstache and madonnas mainly. So now I'm pretty damned I don't remember your one. There are two kind if people, those that hate their voices and those that pretend to hate it, but there's always that exception where one will say they love their voice lol. Like you, I hate my voice and know i have a terrible voice. At least you get asked to use yours, so it really is all in your head lol

Oops sorry my first line missed a word. Recorded voice.

I think I don't sound too bad, until I hear a recording of it.
I'm generally happy with my tone, range and expression.

I remember that! Hope your neck is healing, looks nasty. I so wish I lived by the water, I love the sound of waves. Today, well on Sunday it hit 40 deg. I did not venture out of the house until evening. Even then it was hot

Thanks. It's a bit sore today but really isn't all that bad. Frustrating cause you bend and turn your neck so often.

Today I was nowhere near the water and it was hot here too. Yucky.
