You survived your first morning!!

H O O R A Y !

You will hit the ground running today, that's for sure. Nothing wakes you up in the morning quite like the smell of fresh urine. By 10am, you will know what I mean.

Don't do anything you don't feel comfortable with. If you are unsure when ambulating clients, ask for help, if you are unsure how to feed, ask for help. You are they to learn, not "work". Remember to keep your fluids up. A nurse has 2 states. She is either dying of thirst, or busting to piss.

Couple more tips, not that you asked. When feeding clients, always sit at eye level. Standing while feeding shows disinterest and a task orientated mentality. Moisturise old skin after showering. Pat don't wipe when drying. Check scalps. You would be shocked at the scalp health of clients in nursing homes. Look forward to this afternoons debrief.

Oh and I read the fallout in the other thread. It is predictable that he would choose a day that is going to be so nerve racking, exciting and important to you to rehash his poor me routine and try and manipulate himself to be the sad lonely friendless victim. Thankfully judging by the responses, some posters are finally picking up what he is putting down. I have often wondered what the people he is constantly PM'ing think when he does his spasmodic "I wish I had one friend..." posts. The toxic manipulation which drives him are as obvious as Dolly Partons tits.

sooooo its a bit crowded with a total of 7 pillows/cushions on there ... but having spent a motza on it all I don't want to NOT use them ...
plus its on an antique (timber) bed with foot so it doesnt hang over at the bottom like that ... so its gorgeous but not as wonderful as I thought it would be - plus the room pictured is bigger than ours - LOVE the chair ... and meant to pick up an old one and paint it but in the end there was no room for chair .. and I've already overdone it with the cushions ...

first question any male guest asks when shown the room: "what do we do with the cushions when we want to sleep?" lesson learnt - but it looks so pretty!!!!

My bed had 8 pillows and I anally retentively make it every single day.

I will snap it for you when I get up.

My partner does this mock exaggerated routine of me making the bed, if it wasn't so funny, I would poison his food.

They used to deliver, too many must of arrived broken, I only know cos i got mine delivered due to constant sell out, in saying that, I did a dash for paint brushes this morning and saw they had them in stock, yesterday they didn't, so keep checking

Well my day started with being head butted by my big boffa dog ;( I was tying up the new little puppy leaning down & at the same time he jumped off the verendah to go over to his "mums gunna reverse out of the driveway" spot. Hurt like a mofo :(
