I get the urge for strange random hobbies to avoid doing actual work. Right now my mind is spinning over the newest Siamese Fighting Fish breeds. Must not restart procrastination-borne hobbies.

For any Melbourne people reading this and others who are familiar with the Nepean Highway, I had a most unusual drive along there this morning starting at about 1045. From the intersection of Punt and Commercial Rds to the Humphries Rd turn off in Mt Eliza I stopped at only five red lights. I slowed down at a few others without coming to a stop. The first red light was at South Road.

I can't find the Masterchef thread. I heard someone say Aperol jelly. Where is it and let me at it! Love Aperol. There's a punch I've had with it in it and it packs a punch which you don't expect. Yum! In Tutte Bene at Southbank.

Oh that 3 dot post was me posting a link to a post on the NSW police Facebook page about my mum who had been missing since Monday morning.
We got a phone from one of the detectives that were working on this at about 10 30 am this morning and he told us she had been found.
I wasn't thinking last night when I put that post up and when I deleted it. I was honestly feeling so low and lost and confused and on the verge of breaking down for the last 2 days.

It looks like she has had a bit of a breakdown and I feel fucking horrible for not noticing the signs, they were there, but I was caught up in my own bullshit to notice them properly. This has been such a huge wake up call for me... And my family. My brother has taken the rest of the week off from the Navy and my sister is driving up from the bay now.
I have not seen my mum yet she is at the hospital, my dad and brother have gone to see her, I thought it would be better for me to stay home at this point in time as not to overwhelm her.

Anyone who read this please for me hug your love ones and let them know how much you love them because you never know when something bad might happen.

Big hugs Inigo, hope your mum is OK x

Thinking of you and your family @Inigo Montoya - such a scary time but it's great that your mother has been located. Don't beat yourself up for missing the signs, even when you know the person well and see them regularly it can be easy to miss, everything is easy in hindsight. Don't worry about that now, the main thing is that your mother is ok now and she has lots of support. I think it's important to still look after yourself as well in this time.

Take care xxx
