Game of Thrones *may include spoilers*

How could the same people who did the last episode do this one? Beyond appalling. The only part they did well was Dany's story line and that is saying something. I have not been this gutted since I watched Man of Steel. Or Dexter season 5-8. So much I was looking forward, so much was urinated on.

So does this mean we won't get to meet..
Lady Stoneheart at all?

Did you see Lena Headey posting that picture of stones in the shape of a heart? She must be a massive troll, because it looks unlikely. I think the Tysha story line has been cut as well. Jaime has actual feelings and guilt? Cut that shit! Fuck, that was a depressing episode.

From a non-book reader perspective I loved it. Best episode thus far in the series IMO. It held my attention from start to finish which no other episode had ever managed to do.

I luuuurvvveeed that episode - I got so bored watching those fight scenes last week it wasn't funny. It was very satisfying for me. Clearly moved a lot of storylines onto the next arc - Ayra, Jon Snow, Stannis, the Lannisters, Bran. I enjoyed every second and can't wait until the next season and how they story will develop. And by the way:

Good riddance Twyin. #TeamTyrion all the way

I've been ever so clever and used the spoiler button, just in case someone who hasn't watched the episode strays into this thread.

Also... Poor dragons! So cruel; no sunlight, heavy chains, no mummy. Awful!

I know. I'm so lame, but it upsets me.

I know that made me sad too! I'm a sap though.

I felt bad for the man and his little girl. Having said that, you can't blame a dog if its master does not train it. But the scene was one of the few I enjoyed this episode. Very faithful.

I think there's definite benefits for not being up to where the show is in the books.

You can just enjoy it as it is and not be critiquing based on how faithful it is to the books.
For the most part, in my opinion, the series arcs have been more enjoyable than the books, which tend to get bogged down in 'detail' ala Lord of the Rings. My opinion only.

I thought this last episode was terrific. Sooooo much to look forward to next season. I don't want to wait! :arghh:

Anyone that enters this thread and hasn't seen the latest ep is a fool.
I think the show writers were trying a bit tooo hard to draw a parallel between the Breaker of Chains and the 'hypocrisy' of chaining her very own 'off-spring'.

Like dangerous dogs (i.e. pitbulls) those things are dangerous, dany has no other alternative but to protect her subjects by keeping them locked up where they can't kill innocent children.

I wonder how the other Targs managed/controlled their former dragons.

I appreciate that they need to be controlled, but the manner of that control seems so harsh. It's a fantasy world, after all, so surely a large enclosure in the open air would be feasible.

Yeah, that's why I'm wondering what her Targ ancestors did to get them to behave and stuff. lol She seems to have no control over them whatsoever particularly the black one who's off to who knows where reeking havoc on innocent people who happen to be at the wrong place at the wrong time.
