Forum Big Brother House

Name:
The Overseer of Peace

Backstory:
The overseer of peace provides a comfortable room and chair for all to gather and share their stories. Traveling from BB house to BB house showing truth, drama, good times and bad. Never a dull moment with the overseer of peace, our BB peace has provided many a platform for mediation from day one, to well after the show is over. Almost like a magnet we all gather here to discuss the past and present.

Why it was designed like it is:
The body is based on the BBAU 2012 Diary Room chair, a chair that was a direct reference to George Orwell’s novel, 1984 - the book Big Brother is based on.

I used blue for the arms and legs as a nod to the ‘traditional’ Big Brother colours. One arm is giving the ‘peace’ sign to represent how cool and relaxed the forums are and then one arm on the hip to symbolise how serious we, the members are about Big Brother and how serious discussions do take place while we are still cool and peaceful.

I implemented a remixed version of the BBAU 2012-2014 eye to symbolise a new beginning/revival in reference to Big Brothers new beginning/revival to 2012. I used different colours for the tech-rings in the eye to symbolise the different and diverse personalities Behind Big Brother Forum members have.

I gave my mascot eyebrows as a reference to the original and later Channel 10 eyes, with the colour once again a reference to the traditional BB colours but a different blue, similar to Channel 10’s former logo to symbolise BB’s origins on the network.
