I think 2004-2006 was the heyday of Big Brother! This is when the format was perfected, refined and made amazing. There were no crazy tech failures with transmission (If we can excuse the loss in 04), audio and visuals were fantastic and viewers felt respected.

Agree with your statement 110%. Those three series where the three that me and my mum enjoyed the most. The first three where good but they where too basic and a little boring at the end. 2007 was good but very bland. 2008 was very good very underrated but it wasn't "Big Brother". 2012 was a great series but it wasn't as good as CH 10 BB. I wasn't fond of 2013 but I enjoyed watching it. And I hated last years so much. But God I miss Gretel

As much as the first 3 seasons were loved, the format wasn't refined, the tech wasn't available but the spirit was there. That same spirit was emulated in BB04 and JEEZ it looked FANTASTIC!!! This period of amazingness was there until a small, unknown event known as the:
TURKEY SLAP
Occured and even the Prime Minister didn't like the show. Fans stayed loyal but dwindled quickly and in 2008, Big Brother stopped.
