Finale Alert! Happening 8 December

Speaking of big novelty cheques, I feel like the prize money will see a boost in this final week. It got bumped from $100k to 125k for no real reason early on. Then Vinnie got his $10k phone call, also for no real reason. Will it get a boost to 150k or even 200k this week? Not that they're particularly deserving of it.

Money better spent on more walkouts, lol

Or paying experienced staff to produce an adequate reboot.

I know what you mean.. and yes, true. I'd be most excited about having somebody on the crew that knows how to mix things properly. But in the greater scheme of things, the key might actually be not to hire staff that is experienced, at least not experienced with reality tv. None of the people that launched Big Brother in the 00s had experience with reality tv. A lot of them produced factual, news or documentaries and took things from there.

This should have been a 6 week season, and could have, with a Mon Dec 22 finale still leaving enough time for closeout before a Xmas homecoming.

Audiences will dwindle the further we get into December, there's no benefit. If it's anything like past seasons a good portion of the crew will be from out of state and they'll want to go the fuck home before Christmas.

So guessing Monday's snap eviction will air at the end of Tuesday's show but the evictee not be interviewed until the live show on Wednesday, in which case probably means another single eviction (probably from all the HMs except Colin). Baffling why they're so against double evictions, though might do one on Sunday if the lines opening on Wednesday to vote for the winner. That I think then leaves 4 for the finale.

I don't if it's because of the blitz run time of the season, but I seriously do not passionately care for any of these HMs like I have for CH9 seasons. Perhaps it's because I'm much older now, but I just find everyone "okay" - no one I desperately love or hate which is actually making this feel boring.

Dreamworld pass holders are saying the 7th of December show is saying it’s the final can anyone confirm this? If so then it’s prerecorded.

Rofffllll.

If this is true, surely theyre not pre-recording the final????

They're seriously going to do multiple recordings of telling different housemates they won and ask them to fake it and theyll just play the one that got the most votes the next night?

I know some other shows have been doing that rubbish but Big Brother never has and is meant to be live. Part of the whole hype of BB returning this year is that it is current like the 9 and 10 series and not pre-recorded like 7 yet i think even 7 managed to do their finals live?

That's a very positive take.

They will close the lines on Sunday, announce the results, and expect it to be kept quiet for a day is more like it. That's if Sunday is the finale.

Well hopefully that is more the case if there is no live final on Monday.

I really do not want them having to get multiple housemates to fake that they won.

Also the winner should be announced in house! Please let the winner be the last remaining housemate and they leave them in there alone for a bit.

The finals where they bought out the last two to announce the winner on stage were rubbish.
