I hope this works…

Other than Big Brother, do you have any creators on YouTube that you follow?

I confess to having a bit of a thing for renovation/restorations of old buildings in Europe, predominantly (but not limited to) France.

Nothing quite like an old stone wall that needs repointing to get me interested.

I have a few that I follow, but this particular one is my hands down favourite. I have been watching this fella since he bought this place and the progress he has made is nothing short of astounding. He still has a long way to go but the sheer grit, determination, ingenuity and persistence he has displayed up to now, I have no doubt in his ability finish this job. Most tasks he takes on himself but he also has a couple of mates help out from time to time.

His vlogs are on average about 10 minutes long and he aims to post around 5 a week (give or take).

If you are looking for a new obsession and don’t mind a binge watch, the let me introduce you to Dan Preston and Escape to rural France.

Oooh thanks for this. There's a playlist to replace the BB live stream for a bit. Cheers.

My goodness @BootsAlice that is some seriously slow TV lol. Definitely have to skip some episodes, the manbun bloke explaining how to restore an old window frame for an entire episode - I couldn't do it. Same with installing floor joists. This is second screen viewing.

haha! OK, I will have a look see if there is a "What has happened in the past year" episode - I think I posted the first episode and he does daily vlogs so yeah, bit of a binge to catch up. Let me see what I can find

This vid is the first 150 days in 12 mins, it may be more your speed.

I forget that I have been watching since he started and in retrospect, it may be a bit of a slog.

Anyway, see what you think...

I have many You Tube channels I follow. I have thought abought starting a thread like this before (I thought there was one but could not find it when I looked for it a few months ago) but wasn't sure if others would be interested. But since there is some interest :)

Here is one channel I follow called Jelles marble runs - the do mock Olympics and car racing and one off events but with marbles. There is 32 odd teams and supporters for those teams! It has a commentator, and a lot of effort is put into it all. I don't watch sports but I do watch this.
