Favourite & Least Fave HM's From Past and Present

I'd forgotten you were a Jade fan SES. Presuming you're a guy (apologies if you're not), what was it about Jade's time in the house that you derived enjoyment out of? As I've stated many times before, for mine she only served as nuisance value but I'm genuinely intrigued what a male fan saw in her to consider himself a fan.

I liked her sense of loyalty and trust in the house. It was hard for me to get behind the other house mates like Drew who would report conversations he was apart of to other people and Tim would make fun of his "friends" behind their back. I didn't always agree that Tim/Drew/Ed/Mikkayla were worthy of that loyalty but to my memory she did not nominate them or betray their confidence. I didn't really like any of the other house mates although they had their moments (Tahan telling Tully about cutting people off). I also related to her lack of self esteem. She at least thought well of her looks, but I understood not thinking much of yourself in other areas. I always thought highly of her and still do, despite some eye rolling moments in the house and out.

She is sort of in the Fitzy category for me. I always liked them and thought highly of them but there are times when I go "come on!". Not like Tim Brunero, who I just couldn't find fault with. I remain the most one-eyed fan. I never had the dislike for her going after the good looking guys that you seem to. That just seems to be the way it goes in life. We all have our own standards as to what we find acceptable in terms of a partners looks. Hers may be too heavily skewed to looks over personality (Captain Cardboard, for example) but that is her choice and for her to judge. Her flirting never bothered me because it was not hurting anyone (there were no genuine feelings to be hurt IMO).

Also, yes, bloke. I put that in my profile to avoid confusion. Like thinking you wanted to bang Tom Hawkins. Sorry about that ;)

Did you vote to save her though? :D

On reflection I don't reaaaally 'hate' Jade for anything she did whilst in the house. However the disproportionate focus on her 'storylines' in the daily shows by the producers (seemed like it took over half the show at times) as well as as how many of her fans ripped to shreds other housemates so Jade could come out smelling of roses in disagreements/confrontations did leave a bad taste in my mouth and probably fueled my disdain for a housemate I'd normally not even remember existed.

Probably BECAUSE Lebron left. He was suffering with a broken heart ;)
I can't even tell you how annoying it was listening to him today. Apparently he thinks it's awesome now and that there is some awesome player there who does Pepsi (I think) commercials and they are quite funny because he dresses like an old man and then plays basketball on the streets... Anyways apparently Lebron reckons he can make him huge and whatever and it's exciting to see what will happen now. He is upset for Miami though, thinks their reign is over for now and thinks that sucks big time, wish they could have finished on a high and what not... Yeah I should get wife of the year after listening to all this crap. No offence to basketball fanatics.

I have no opinion on any of it. Not even a care about it. I'm going to talk about some lame show to my hubby just as payback ;)

Oh I get it now, it all makes sense. No offense ( :whistling: ) intended by your hubby is what's commonly referred to in NBA circles as a LeBron fanboi/nuthugger. He'll support any team just as long as his favourite player is among them, for shame. :p

That's Kyrie Irving, born and bred (okay just born) in Melbourne. ;)

Here's the clip in case you're interested (which you probably aren't but anyway):

He is a fan of Lebron, but he is still a Miami heat fan. But that doesn't mean he doesn't appreciate a good player. Just like he thinks Kobe Bryant is pretty good. There are a few teams he follows and like any person he likes certain players. You keep your judgements for those you know on here con, I will come after you armed with a sledge hammer and all if you say a word about my hubby. The queen protects the king in a chess match, don't you forget that. Not that I know anything about playing chess. I'm just doing a tully and ripping off something I read on Facebook haha

Edit: regarding the video, yeah that's the one. And yep I wasn't interested, but that was pretty cool.

*wink* doing a connoisseur :whistling:

I have only voted for 2 people and the other was Logan Greg when he went up against Tim in the 05 final.

That's not rare for basketball. Most people seem to follow players more so than teams. Well, best of luck with the revenge. I have nearly finished the White Queen, so as far as lame shows go, that might be the place to start.
