I'm with mikidiki and jessygirl, he's been at 1.08 at least once before and we waved cheerio to Ben instead.

I think hes going to weasel his way out of it again. Jade (or at an outside chance Drew) is out this round.

If you bet $10,000 on the field, you stand to double your money. From that potential $10,000 profit you can spend $5,000 on voting for Ed. Those 9000+ votes should be enough to save Ed no matter what thus ensuring some easy money. This is predicated on the voting tally not being all that large, which I think is the case.

If we see Ed's voting percentage spike this week we can be pretty sure some smart punter got involved.

OK, I getcha. Seems like a fair bit of button pushing and money to make it worthwhile though...

Um, he was that low last time and Ben and Caleb left those weeks.

Ed wasn't predicted to go the week Caleb did. Ed very nearly did go when they showed the percentages though, he was only like a point difference from Caleb.

It was matts eviction Ed was predicted and then he was gone for sure at bens eviction.

I still can't understand why he's getting through. He can't do this anymore. Vote to save is meant to get rid of types like him. There is nothing tangible to latch onto to vote for him for. The betting needs to be right this time. It can't get it three times wrong, please!

I also saw the same ad talked about over on Reality Ravings comments pages earlier today. For reals!

Ed was supposed to leave the week when Matt left, but his family pulled the whole "win a date with Ed" and got him saved.

He was up for eviction the week the sugar sisters left, but because the sisters, Jade and Mikkayla has a mixed fanbase, the vote was split, which saved Ed.

He was supposed to leave when Ben did, but Ben's fans though Ben was safe and didn't vote.

I wonder if Nick only put into the SA paper to work the hometown angle or if he had the guts to put it in the Herald Sun to try to appeal to footy voters too. Gahhhh this is the one time I regret cancelling my subscription. I have to run out for a bit so I'm going to pick up a copy of the HS just to see.

the 1/2 hr special of Ed and Jades date in the Garden of Eden, the night before eviction probably got him those extra votes, which saw him just scrap through over Ben
HM's get some storylines but not as much airtime in one go, from Ed in the DR talking to BB, to Ed asking Jade on the date, Ed and Jade getting ready for the date, JadEd in the Garden of Eden, and Ed in the P.S talking with Surly, and then JadEd in the DR talking about the date.
