Estelle can't catch a break

Not surprising that Estelle is nominated again. Michael's hatred continues, giving 4 points to Estelle. I believe that Estelle is a genuine, nice person. But it seems that Michael & co. don't like her. They call her 'weird' but I don't believe that to be true.

I believe when you don't allies in the house, you have to find a way to entertain yourself. If I were in the house, I'd probably do the same thing. Then Ben has an argument with her because she didn't defend him. I think that's messed up. Normally, I would not be writing this, but when I was in your country visiting friends they got me hooked on watching the show and I like it so much that I wish I could vote.

Since I'm back in L.A. all I can do is watch online. Also, I'm a big Estelle fan and since she loves the Lakers, I would like to find a way to send her season tickets and fly her here to L.A. w/ family and friends to go to a game. Maybe I'll ask my mate from Australia to help me out with that.

Keeping my fingers crossed she stays!

If you were in a house with 6 other people and you got on really well with 2 or 3, but didn't quite connect with the other 2 or 3, then who would you nominate? Would you nominate one of the people you get along well with, or one of the ones you don't get on so well with?
 
Michael keeps repeating the same mistake over and over, each week expecting that Estelle will be evicted. He hasn't changed direction or stopped to ask himself if he should try another strategy. He just keeps nominating here. Head/brick wall. Isn't that the definition of insanity? Or stupidity?

Meanwhile, Estelle becomes stronger every time.

Exactly- if he'd had the foresight to realise that Sam is the lynchpin to that alliance and voted for him- he'd still be up for noms.
 
There's a bunch of things with Michael why he's nominating Estelle.

I think he's still pissed that she got to see his nomination and he's that petty. That's part of it. On top of this, the fact she's survived so much makes her a threat. He is the hardest game player in there.

He seems to be someone that has had issues with control, and the fact she hasn't gone is annoying him. So he wants to try and regain that. Remember that a lot of people he's nominated have gone.

I also think there's a bigger issue where Michael is aware he might look bad. You look at some of the recent conversations with him and Ben. Clearly they are talking about themselves, working out their thoughts of how they are acting but transferring it onto other house mates. They are aware but unable to own up they might look bad.

Think back to when he got upset at Estelle not liking him telling his racist joke story. That was entirely because he felt that what she did made him look bad. He went into massive damage control losing his mind over the fact she may have inadvertently made him look bad. When he attacks her, it's all lots of personal attacks, about her being weird, her being dumb. It's about him saying he's better than her. Trying to re-assure himself, the other house mates and the viewers. He's trying to justify himself as a better person. In her being nominated they are "doing the right things."


In recent weeks with the topic of bitching, it has come up that Estelle is the only one that doesn't partake. There's pathetic attempts that complaining or mentioning people bitch is bitching. When it's not. I think Michael is aware that Estelle, like Sam are both being nice in the house, and he has said many mean and nasty things. He's mentioned it a lot with Sam. On him being nice ect.

One would go around the house thinking how you stack up and compare to everyone else. As much as he may legitimately think Estelle is odd and dislike her. He would be 100% aware she is a better more decent person than him and that could be a big threat if he's up against her.

So he's been trying to avoid a situation where he thinks she could beat him on simply being a better person.
 
Or maybe he is nominating her because he doesn't like her as much as the other housemates.

I agree, I don't think he is being very smart about his nominations.

As for tonight's BB episode (tue) well it is now blatantly obvious to me that BB wants both Estelle and Stacey saved and beNPD OUT OUT OUT !

... and I wholeheartedly agree with BB and the BB crew.

Don't split the votes though folks.

Save Estelle.

Even if only to make a certain nose itchy. :p ;) :)

I think you're all over thinking here... Michael is in a group who all know who they're targeting from week to week. They all go for Estelle.

Then I urge you to vote, because this week will be a squeaker I am predicting!

Ben's fans vote regardless of how he is depicted and Stacey's got the kiddie vote so it's going to be super close.
