Overwhelmed long term partner will get to meet his Mum and Dad.

He was the Housemates’ “Big Mumma” and a constant source of joy and entertainment, but the Australian public Voted and decided the Big Brother House ain’t no Big Mumma’s House!

Despite missing out on the crown and title, eternal optimist Jason says he leaves the Big Brother House having stayed true to himself and giving it his all.

But the biggest blessing of all? Having his mother and father’s love and support on Eviction night.

On what it meant to have his parents in the audience...
To me, it meant the absolute world because it was a long time coming, and it felt so amazing to have them just be there, knowing that now they’ve openly accepted me, and knowing that my partner of four years will get to meet them. I’m so excited about that.

On hearing Sonia call his name...
When Sonia called my name, I was upset because I didn’t want the experience to end and I was having such a fun, amazing time! I just wanted to keep going and going and going.

On the closeness of the Voting...
When you see the percentages are so close it is disappointing, because I really loved everything… No matter what was given to me, I ran with it 100%. I gave it my all.

On Aisha and Travis’s $50,000 decision...
I definitely didn’t do anything to sway their decision. I knew it was going to be a big decision… I just wanted [Aisha] to make, whatever decision it was, from the heart… I know Travis was going to make the right decision, but consider both people in that decision-making process.

On Cat and Lawson’s choices...
I do love Cat, and I love Lawson; I think they’re great people and I think they have great hearts. Everyone makes mistakes in life… But it definitely got me questioning them and their morals. It takes a big person to be able to cross the line.

On speaking out about #Clawson...
I’m surprised that I was the only person that voiced an opinion! I wanted to walk out of this House being proud that I was who I was, and as far as I’m concerned, I don’t believe in cheating… The person I feel most sorry for is Candice; my heart goes out to her.

On finding his inner peace...
I leave prouder than I was coming into the House… For me, for many of my years, I’ve only had my friends, so to have my parents come out on that stage was an amazing experience and life-changing for me.

I still think it sucks what he did to his family. Not the time, not the place and a bit of a dog act to embarrass them on national TV. I still think he used them for sympathy and if you believe his brother, the truth is nothing like how he described. He looked decidedly uncomfortable when Sonia bought it up. Regardless of what the truth actually is, whether they do support him or not, it was a shit thing to do to his parents to bring to the attention of the public their private parent/child relationship details on national TV.

I agree. I guess we will never know the truth but definitely a scumbag move to try for sympathy votes. Glad it didn't work for too long.

Anyone else hate the stupid face he made whenever Sonia complimented him? As though he was trying to do puppy dog eyes. Made me sick!

The whole thing is strange. Jason says his family didn't support him, earning sympathy. Jason's brother offers lotsa love, undermining the truth of what Jason was saying. Jason unknowingly still talks about lack of support. The whole extended family turns up to the eviction show, showing everyone how supportive they are, but effectively undermining Jason again. The family's actions were simultaneously supportive and seemingly called Jason out on being disingenuous. It would be fascinating to know what's actually happened. Interesting dynamics in that family...

Yes, I would love to know

My opinion for what it's worth is that his parents have supported him but not his "lifestyle", by that I mean they refused to meet his partner, his biggest wish was to take his partner with him when he had dinner with them but so far his parents have not agreed to that! To me this indicates he has contact with his parents regularly just not in a way, understandably, that Jason is happy with. Now it seems he has hope that both he and his partner will be attending family diners seemingly having been given approval by his parents attendance on stage.

I did too... And I've just woken up... Must mean I need to go back to bed :p

Rhoo! I should do some work, I have to close my laptop now :bang: This is worse than FB (FB with my family and friends) I can't close it. I will go now though  and come back when I have done some work

Jason caught out in pity party, thought HMs, public, would like him more if his family failed to support his life choices. Big fail, Jason

why cant it simply be that after seeing him on tv and receiving the letter that the whole family has decided to support him and show him they accept and love him. maybe they trying to save face, to their friends, instead of looking like nasty uncaring family. I do not for one minute believe any of jasons behaviour has been fake. that was no acting. i hope something very positive comes out of all this for the jason, his partner and his family.

I had no idea his mom was Persian and that his dad was white. I thought he was Indian for some reason!?!? lol. In any case - yes, Persian women are generally attractive, at least from what I've seen. My best friend is Persian and she looks like a Victoria's Secret model (without makeup)!

Anyway, I'm one to believe that the whole thing was genuine. I think his parents just decided to support him. Whether that was for their own interest, his, or a combination of both is something we won't ever know. In any case, happy for him!

If you don't believe his tears were real then you guys are cynical as fuck.
I agree with you 100%! Why all the hate against Jason? I thought he was one of the nicest, sweetest, most genuine HMs in there. Talking about his parents etc was very moving. I am so happy that they are supporting him. I can't understand people calling Jason fake. He was anything but fake to me. It's fascinating how we all view the HMs so differently. I, for example, think Ryan is an absolute snake in the grass. While others think he is the bees knees.
