Drew is a scumbag

Drew should take a small part of the blame for ignoring the fact that Tully has a gf but I can't say that I wouldn't do the same thing if I was in his position, particularly because Tully has made it seem like it's ok.

Yeah, they must have talked about it a lot. Even from the early through the wall days he was joking about her being 'all girlfriended up' so he couldn't be with her. Those two are so into the drama that they would certainly have delved into it in conversation, if only for the thrill of the dangerous topic.

They totally would have talked about it, and Drew would have gotten the green light.

I don't think they've talked about it that much because they would have shown us all of it, but from what they have said about it, Tully has made it sound like they're not doing anything wrong. When Tahan asked her about it, I think she was going to admit that she knows she's gone too far, but then unfortunately Drew walked in on their convo.

Yeah, that was a shame he came out then... I wonder what Tully would have said.

They whisper to each other a lot, Maybe they talked about it then... nah., You're right. I have no evidence.

So, have you seen the LF from today in the kitchen. Tully looks so happy and shiny-eyed and pretty lately.

Yes, I posted in the Tully thread that that live feed update sort of proves that they didn't have sex. She really does seem happy lately, even while nominated and likely to go home on Monday.

I don't think we can rule it out - it is the pause that raises the question, while the words tell the world 'We are joking,' the body language, and Tully's unusually chipper self speaks of vows deepened recently. Maybe I am just hopeful.

See, I like Tully when she is being nice to Drew. (Oh, who is a scumbag, apparently.)

Hmm yeah that's true. But then wouldn't she be freaking out if she really thought she was pregnant?

watermellie: I don't think you're being hypocritical, but you're still saying that what Drew is doing is ok? getting with Tully when he knows she already has a partner? that's not a line I could ever cross, and I've lost a lot of respect for both of them as a result.

I just literally don't see it that way, giving any part of the blame to anyone but Tully just diminishes the blame on her, which is entirely where it should be.

He's a single man looking for love, get it.

I've never really been a fan of him, just don't think less of him for the Tully thing. Her tears is what makes me dislike her more than anything.

As for respect, well I don't particularly respect any of them to be honest....

watermellie,
He's a single man looking for love, get it.
Yes, so am I, but I'd never go for somebody who I know is already in a relationship!!! ... (get it!?) ... it's a simple moral choice that we all have to make. Drew has chosen the "I don't care if she already has a partner, because she doesn't seemingly care either" route... ugh. Best of luck with that one Drew.

Sorry but I can't find any justification for what either Drew or Tully are doing, they're both at fault for crossing that line in regards to partners. This is bi-directional cheating.

Agree with you about Tully's tears tho, she puts the CRI in CRINGE ... (granted thats a cringeworthy thing to say) :P

watermellie,

Yes, so am I, but I'd never go for somebody who I know is already in a relationship!!!

You sure? What if she claimed to be abused? Even just ignored? Who knows what she's been saying under those covers, her girlfriend could be the worst person ever!

My way is really much less complicated ~_*

watermellie, Tully and Tahlia have been together for two years ... I don't think you should bring random speculations of "maybe she's been abused? ignored? her girlfriend could be the worst person ever!" etc into this :(

Well, to be honest, you're now complicating it!

There is a great Leonard Cohen song, possibly his best, called Famous Blue Raincoat. It tells the story of a guy who is writing a letter to his old friend who had an affair with his wife. 'What can I tell you, my brother, my killer / What can I possibly say?/ I guess that I miss you, I guess I forgive you/ I am glad you stood in my way// And thanks/ For the trouble you took from her eyes/ I thought it was there for good/ So I never tried./

Drew seems to have cheered Tully up. He doesn't strike me as all bad.

1) He's still hooking up with her despite knowing she already has a partner, and 2) Tully still keeps crying over every little thing trying to make everything about her... nothing has changed there

I'm not saying that was the case at all, I was saying that in response to you would never do it. Who knows what their relationship was like, that's the point. Drew is making his decisions based on whatever Tully said to him, which may or may not be fact.

Still don't think he's a scumbag, still think Tahlia's broken heart is all on Tully.

I don't think she thinks she is pregnant - I think it is just the first time is passed their minds that pregnancy is a possible consequence of their actions

But that is what I am talking about = she doesn't seem to be crying all the time anymore. Obviously she bunged it on when Ben came back in, but apart from that, she has been pretty chilled this week.At least, she was trying all week, and now just seems like any other young girl in love.

Yeah, she was dating someone, and it got messy, but Tahlia has left her, and doesn't wish her any malice, judging from her extremely mature tweets, and Tully clearly told Drew it was okay, so.. Why do some zealots cling so hungrily to this 'But she cheated...' line. Yeah, she did. They fell in love when she was officially still dting someone else. Happens every day. It is sad, it hurts for a bit, it makes things a bit icky, but, there it is. It is an imperfect world.

He is not mistreating her. Even Tahlia would have to say that she is looking more psychologically healthy lately. It was an ugly start, but I don't see the necessity to wail about 'But he knew she had a partner..' Yeah, he did. Whooptidoo.

I must admit---I am struggling to find the relevance here! HA!!
