The response was such an OTT to Smurphette's post that I just assumed Sapphire had always intended to go off on someone and was just waiting for any opportunity to do so.

haha well let me try and redeem myself a little here...it's only the beautiful people of the world i like to see get rejected, not the underdog, and it's not because i'm jealous and secretly high five myself when happens, it's because.........well actually it is just jealousy :)

Hiya - yeah he did reciprocate but generally when someone says they love you in that type of scenario you do say it back so I didn't read much into his response beyond being polite nice.

You make a good point about how these get togethers start tho. Who is going to who?? Maybe Drew is going to Tully and maybe he is sneaker than we give him credit for and he actually does it to make Jade jealous. I would like to think that is true but really have no idea.

Your Ok - all good fun. I think everyone likes to see a truly deserving person succeed (whether beautiful or not) and everyone (if honest) likes to see the less deserving feel some humility now and then. If Jade was 100% sweet and innocent and just besotted with Ed we would all be rooting for her ...but she has flirted her way to mischief he he
 
i think he's just looking for a little luuurrrrrve and he gets it at the fence...tully's getting a bit hot for him think, if she keeps going in for the full body hug she's gonna stick to that glass like abalone onto a rock.

Personally if I knew or was under the impression that a guy is gay, I wouldn't really have him on my radar.. even if he got friendly. I assume Drew is the same.
 
I don't want you but I don't want anyone else to have you..but hang on, I do want you when I'm feeling rejected, or lonely, or bored, or angry..or happy..just be on call for me really. But don't act like you actually like me for gods sakes..then I will run.
 
As for this Sapphire/Smurfette bizniz..I was sure I must have missed something, but read back and just as baffled as anyone. Can't we alll just get aloongggg...watch it..I'm breakin out in song now :p

i put on my crash helmet and knee pads because i thought things were going to messy....lucky smurfette had the control to leave the pin in the grenade.

Yes, hats off smurfette. I was up -couldn't sleep - and thought posts MUST have been being deleted. There could have been some alcohol fueling the fires of misunderstanding is my guess. Sometimes it is just best not to drink and post/ text...?

Hahaha - that's the psych training, and years of mediating disputes between my offspring!

In all seriousness, though - years ago I worked in a bank, and was in 3 bank hold-ups. When you have a shotgun being waved in your face, the ability to remain calm and consider your options instead of reacting instinctively can mean the difference between a bullet in your head and getting to the pub for drinks after work

ouch! armed hold ups are brutal....my friend worked in banks for 20 years and only went through one (still one too many) armed hold up but another woman i know had a shotgun aimed to her head on her first day of work by that famous bank robber...too scary
