Like, Drew was in the palm of your hand girl! Oh well, we'll see.
I dunno, I don't really see it happening with her & Ed. And how do they become closer if they're separated. I feel like she'll be nomed a lot and he won't.
But yeah, she acts like a little schoolgirl with a crush around him and he just sits there and gives her nothing, lol. (Except that peck which was a spur of the moment thing).

It crossed my mind last night that if Jade actually knew Drew had the most saves she might change her behaviour. She seems relatively intelligent so she may figure it out for herself that people won't like the way she is so close to Drew but then chasig after Ed. If she doesn't figure this out and start to change her tune, I predict she will be out within 2 weeks. Although, some people will vote to save her simply to watch the drama unfold.

Totally on board with this thought process. I really believe some of the girls won't appreciate her behavior (especially this week's past HW HMs) and she may end up in HW again without the two potential suitors. This indeed will provide drama and will play out who "really" cares but she might be to blind to notice it at that point...

I'm not sure yet if she is that calculating - although I think Drew might be. As he said to Tully (on Friday night's show and shown again last night when she was talking about him being hurt) - he's not the new kid on the block, and he knows how to play the game. My opinion here is changing - I think they get on amazingly well and I don't see their interactions as flirting, just as really good friends. It's how my kids and their close friends of the opposite sex behave (similar ages to Drew and Jade) when mucking around. From what I'm seeing and reading I think he is actually perfectly happy with being friends. I don't think he is pining for her at all as a couple - despite what the producers what us to believe for ratings

Smurfette, I very much enjoy reading your thoughts on this forum. I agree, I don't actually believe Jade appears to be that calculated ..YET. I will be interested to see if she does begin to play the game more now though.
As for Drew's comments on 'not the new kid on the block, I know how to play the game'..I wondered about that at the time, and came to the conclusion that he was referring more to the "game" being the game with Jade, not the BB game. I think he was saying he knows how to look after himself, he knows she flirts with multiple people in the house, but that he can manage his own feelings and his relationship with Jade (whatever it may be)
Judging by what I have seen and read(as that is all we can really go on, thanks to editing) I believe Drew is happy to be friends with Jade and plays it cool when she flirts around with Ed, but deep down I think it is affecting him on some level and he is just being careful not to let anyone see too much of that. It has just come out in a few looks I've seen and in the way he speaks about it. I could be wrong, maybe he really is happy with being put firmly in the friend zone lol but I still think he would jump at any kind of intimacy with Jade.

same thought as [MENTION=32691]MissKLee[/MENTION], the game he talked about to me, refers to the general dating scene for the young people. not the BB game.
i feel jade is open to both ed and drew, and Ed being the backup instead of drew. she took up any 'offer' drew threw at her, cuddle, spooning, hand in hand.... and she checks out where drew stands from time to time to protect herself emotionally. like the time they milked the cow together, i think drew is the one who cant decide whether he wants her as more than just a friend. the chemistry is there, but i bet its not a rare thing for drew, if he declares he starts taking gf now, i bet the queue will be miles long. the fact that he is still single shows just how much he is reluctant to get into a relationship.

I also tend to think he is talking about dating - but within the big brother game.
My reading of them both (from the view the producers give us) but also from reading their back stories is that they are both pretty decent people - but that Jade is possibly more of an open book that Drew. I don't think she hides her feelings much, whereas I think Drew may be more of a closed book. I think he is more of a thinker than she is.

For somone who claims to love flirting she is absolutely shithouse at it!!
Notice when she was calling Ed hot how he twisted it all around to say that all the girls would be getting lucky on the outside and they were all beautiful - I read that as 'just not that interested' but then he was letting her massage him so who knows 'oh you could never hurt me' BARF!

i think as soon as she smells rejection she runs in the other direction.. As soon as drew said they needed to start a fight her behaviour to wards him changed just like that....then she set her sights on Ed (or matt)...then Ed picks Sharon to go into the bedroom with him and all of a sudden it's back to drew, her "older brother" that she was back in bed with and snuggling with.
I think that because she was the last one standing at the evictions she will assume that means her popularity is not good while Drews is and she will now be making more of a play for Drew.
I think she's probably a nice girl but one sniff of rejection and she put's you at arms length.

Few things going against this Drade relationship
1. Chemistry but no spark on her behalf. Just friends.
2. BB pushing the "Drade" love story from the start, she may have felt a little manipulated by the show. Any love story that is going to happen will be her own.
3. She likes the chase, rather then being chased. Lets face it, Drew was in love after 3 days.
4. Needs to keep things sweet with Drew because she doesn't want to come across as a bitch.
