Does Mr Ed understand italian...

The other day, thought i heard someone in the house - mention Ed is Italian.
If he also understands the language, that would mean when BB spoke to Jade in Italian at the dining table about the fake marriage, Ed would have understood and known it was fake.

Just thought it was interesting, if true.

It would've jump up before. He probably is just of Italian descent and speaks minimal Italian, if I had to guess.
 
His name is Lower apparently. So he'd had to be part Italian on his mother's side and based on that highly unlikely to be fluent. Heck even those born in Australia to first generation migrant parents hardly ever speak their ethnic background language fluently if at all.
 
I remember reading something about Jade saying Ed looked Italian or could pass for an Italian, rather than one of the other male HMs, I think it was Matt.

Ed can't even speak English properly. I'd find it very hard to believe that he'd somehow manage to pull off being bilingual.
