That if you view the value of a housemates worth is based on conflict or storyline, then the current BB production, which is manipulation, gimmicks and skewed editing to create a low quality soap opera is the correct way to go.

Do you think he is trying to be this season's Ben? A la the scene where Ben was caught in the pool and popped up in the middle of a Tully/Drew make-out session? Which the audience clearly loved. CUE JASON'S Staged entrance into the bedroom to cut in on a Clawson make-out sess. He has probably waited all season to execute a Ben replica moment.

Jason is pretty much fake and disingenuous. He fishes people for info on what others are saying about him, etc, which appears beyond the typical level of curiosity someone would have about others' perceptions of them. He comes off as insecure. And his GENUINE conversation with Travis about which part of the song he thought he sounded most like Whitney Houston? He is officially delusional too.

Then again, asking Travis for his opinion about your singing is the blind leading the blind.

BB absolutely want to manipulate footage to amp up storylines, but most of the other HMs have at least been involved in some genuine SLs which have caused conflict. They've given the production team something to manipulate to begin with. Any time Jason has gotten airtime it's because BB has had to give him a task where he can play a stupid character or pull out the gay card for sympathy. If he did or said anything of interest they'd show it. He only ever puts his opinions out there in the DR or when he's gossiping with Priya. He serves absolutely no purpose or adds to the dynamics at all.

He has certainly taken some cues from Ben From Bareback, thought as much from day one, when everything about him was garish, put on and OTT.
 
I won't be upset if he leaves but it is interesting that the "Ark" theme seems to be holding true when it comes to loyalties. Ryan/David now that Sam and Sandra are gone), Cat/Lawson, Travis/Aisha, Skye/Leo, Jason/Priya. (Ignoring Mariana for now.)

I still like him for a vote to nominate Cat or Lawson who are my only targets at this point. Hate them in a television show sort of way, not a I am going to tweet hate towards them or make nasty Facebook comments. :biggrin:
 
I'm a bit torn with Jason. He makes me laugh on occasion, and makes me yell at the screen on other occasions. He can be very entertaining but his act is getting a bit old. Of the 3 people that are still up for eviction to go tomorrow, I hope he goes.

Honestly, I am just guessing based off of the fact that they seemed united after nominations. Maybe Sandra was the glue, but I suspect Ryan is looking for an alliance. Now that he had the most saves I guess it will depend on what happens tonight.

Maybe Ryan will be try to be nicer to Skye? Or maybe he'll hang around Clawson?

Though to be fair, he really does sound like Whitney... when she was going through her "crack is wack" phase!

He is everything I hate in a Big Brother housemate tbh. Well, hate is a strong word for somebody who doesn't really do anything, I suppose. Honestly though if he sorta just left out the back, I'd barely notice.

Also I hope this doesn't come across as offensive because it's not meant to be, but I really hate it when people use being gay as their identifier. Being gay only determines what gender you're attracted to...it doesn't determine your character or who you are as a person and you shouldn't be allowed to skip through to the end with "gay" being your only thing.
