Did anyone else feel sympathy for Zoe?

It was made very clear to Zoe - maybe not directly from Michael himself, but from almost all of the others - that she had the wrong end of the stick. She had the opportunity to hear Michael express his frustration in the Secrets video, but she either misheard or chose not to hear it at all. She was tenacious and forceful about everything concerning Michael. She was downright scary. I didn't/don't feel sympathy for her. I feel embarrassment.
 
NO no sympathy for her or Michael. dont want to see either again, realise I have to at the final, but then they can go.

When she saw it during the secrets show it was a quick glimpse amongst other stuff. She may have misheard. It interested me how over time it was more and more favourable to her point of view - she was adjusting the memory each time she revisited it. BB did intervene though and talked her into moments of clarity. I did feel sorry for her. I've been that obsessed, but at least at the time I knew I was being crazy and didn't talk to people about it...on national telly. Again, the house doesn't allow distance or perspective.
 
She went into total denial on stage. It was all his fault for saying there was sexual tension, like he was pursuing her and she didn't know how to deal with the attention. ahhhhh the power of propaganda, especially to self.
 
Even though I felt a little bit sorry for her during the week as to how she will feel when she sees what a horrible, nasty and unlikeable person she was in the house, I felt no sympathy for her when she came out. Sonya went way too easy on her, played along with her inaccurate, sugar coated version of events that glossed over any kind of nastiness - Gretel would have had a field day in that interview, I don't think she would have let the whole bunny boiler thing just slide, as though it never even happened. It was all very let's just put on smiley faces and pretend everything is all hunky dory and pretty flowers - did they forget about the whole it being on tv thing?

Zoe = Bradley in social awkwardness. Those two should hook up.

IMO Zoe was play acting to get the viewers to go against Estelle, Layla being involved in a less aggressive manner.

The reason I felt sorry for Zoe was neither Ben or Layla was honest enough to let her know it wouldn't come across as good viewing.
Shame on Ben and Layla for leading her on and encouraging Zoe to continue, being a game with a $250K prize at the end, might be the reason why they did.

Zoe was reassuring us it was a joke but then would go to extreme lengths again with her feelings for Estelle, making her come across as out of control.

The axe didn't fall on Estelle as hoped but on both Zoe and Michael, with Zoe redeeming herself in her farewell speech.

When she was saying how she thought he liked her back from that clip, I was like 'omg' and then when she saw the clip again -- the longer version which made it clear it was a bad thing -- and she realised it this time, I was like 'omg'. She was saying how she was concerned about looking foolish on TV, so I think she was like traumatised the second time. Especially after she's just been evicted and is already in a vulnerable state.

Zoe understood the first time she saw the clip. She even stated that she will have to get over Michael etc etc.

Hah, Layla and Ben's sacrificial lamb, throwing Zoe under the bus in an attempt to discredit Estelle as being a nice person.

Plausible.
 
Zoe was a boring potplant for many weeks on Big Brother. She only became interesting to watch during the last few weeks, had she acted like this on the first few weeks and the housemate not nominating her for evictions - Zoe would be one of my favorites to watch just to be a s*** stirrer to the other housemates.

Yes she did, but she seemed to have forgotten that version. She truly believed the second version. IMO
For sure she was confused. Ben told her to go for Michael, he shouldn’t have, but it was his game, never mind who would get hurt.

I am happy Zoe is out, but feel sorry for the way she was manipulated. I think she will be embarrassed by what she will see on TV
 
Actually when she said to Estelle in the nice corner she took "sexual tension" to mean he was interested, I finally understood a bit better why she was being crazy. And to be fair, at the moment that clip was taken from I remember thinking "sexual tension? I don't think that's the phrase you're looking for, Michael, but we'll go with that". Because, I might be wrong here, but usually when people talk about sexual tension it usually refers to a mutual attraction, yes? People refer to sexual tension "between" two people, they're both interested but not sure how to move forward, or unable to.

Not sure I felt sympathy for her, but I understood where she was coming from. From her perspective, Estelle didn't steal a guy she had no shot of getting, she stole a guy who was just starting to come around...or so she thought. And I don't think Estelle stole him, the whole thing was a fantasy, but I see the logic.

...and sorry to resort to Wikipedia but: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sexual_tension Although the first line refers to "one or both", the rest of the article always refers to two people. And I may or may not have googled basic human interaction concepts before.

That's exactly how I saw it too.
Zoe understood the video message that very moment.
Just a little play acting in hopes to sway Estelle voters to drop their votes.
It didn't pay off in Zoe's case.
 
I think Zoe got confidence from being saved and went on the attack. Then she ended up having to reconcile with Estelle, maybe BB had a word with her in the DR.
