When Matthew was nominating he couldn't think of the name for "Showdown" as he referred to it as the "Saturday games" which is odd since it was filmed on the Friday. I wonder if they've told the HM's that they air them on the Saturday and they must reference "Showdown" as occurring on this day in a further attempt to cover up the 24-hour delay, like when they edited Saturday and Sunday into a single day for last Monday's episode.

I thought the same thing!

It is one thing to starve the viewers of the live and raw house footage (this is what BB thrives on) but another thing to persist with labelling edited footage as live. Also, housemates aren't supposed to know the time, day of the week, etc etc. So if they have been told to refer to it as Saturday Showdown by producers then this is another rule breach.

What other reason could there be for him to say "Saturday games" and not "Friday games"?
 
Didn't Sonia tell them early last week live during one of the shows that they'd all be competing in a games show "on Saturday"? Remember?

So when Friday came around and they were told to get ready, it wouldn't have been hard to figure out that it'd be aired on the day Sonia told them.

No she told them they'll be competing in the Showdown on the weekend.
 
Disappointed it isn't live. So now whenever the housemate says something that they shouldn't or if the chamber isn't really 'soundproof' - we'll never know.

Last year the 3 were Ben, Michael and Bradley. Alex M said in an interview after last years series that those 3 were the first 3 chosen and they were always definities of going into the House. They were selected after the first day they auditioned.

From those 3 it is than quite easy to see who was selected based around them. Stacey and Sarah were selected because of Ben. Josh was selected for Michael. Zoe and George were selected as a sister and brother type figure for Bradley. Ryan and Ray were selected as competition for Michael and Josh. Angie and Layla were selected as the attractive females for the boys. Estelle and Charne were probably selected more as individuals rather than selected to match up with others. Ava and Sam were selected as intruders to start TV romances and make the housemates jealous. Pretty basic stuff really.

I wonder who the main 3 are this year. Obviously Tim and Ben are two. That is obvious based on the air time they have been getting. The 3rd is more difficult though. It wouldn't be Drew, Matt, Ed or Caleb. It would be a bigger character. Perhaps Mikkayla?

I was having trouble thinking of the third too... Tahan perhaps?

Yeah, but yet there's a number of opposing (i.e. Tully), as well as supporting (i.e. Ed), characters that could have been "matched" to her. I dunno.
