It is similar to when Tim took her to the Presidential Suite = she was so worried that Ed would be jealous that she completelz neglected to have fun with, or strengthen her bonds with, the strongest player in the house at that time.

She is letting her infatuation for this lemon be the only thing on her mind. Drew did it too, but that was deep in the heart of the series, not here at the close.

Still, if he goes next, at least she had her snuggles, her golden age to look back on.

Phew, I think she might go a bit nuts once she sees how he has treated her in the cold light of day, hot on the heels of her rejection by the ski instructor, she did this to herself like a silly schoolgirl. Hope she has good mates.

The hypocrisy lies in the fact that Ed is getting angry at Drew as Drew is Talking about his relationship yet Ed did the very same thing !!
I don't care how much they backstab or bitch, I just HATE hypocrisy
Also, Ed tried to turn Tully off Drew, Drew has never ever tried to do that.
I actually quite like Ed, I just hate how he has one set of rules for himself and another for everyone else

Drew has a damn cheek going on about Jade and Ed. There was a time when he and Tully were obsessing around the house after each other, and neither gave a fiddler's fuck that they were humiliating and hurting a partner on the outside. They also totally isolated themselves from the rest of the group to the point where it became THE all consuming talking point among the rest of the housemates.

Its coming across now as petty, juvenile and nasty the way the pack of four just sit there bitching the hell of out of Ed and Jade. So what if they are boring to the others, can't they just get on with whatever they are doing and let Ed and Jade get on with their own thing.

Its also fairly likely that Ed will be out next, and if he is, as Drew asked..... "what is SHE going to do then" .... SHE being the girl that was his best friend in that house in the first weeks, and who has done nothing but remain loyal to him, in spite of the fact that she knew he was running with his spiteful tales to everyone else.

He really has become a grade A dickhead, and maybe Ed is dull and it won't last two weeks outside between him and Jade, who knows.... but it was HER who dodged a bullet with Drew and not the other way around as he keeps implying. As if HE and his skanky cheater are going to last five minutes when this is over either.

If she is left in there for the final week with a gang of four bitching about her in corners behind her back and her coming over as isolated, the public will jump to her defence as the hard done by underdog and the votes will Flow in for her. Tim smelling the money at this stage will be all over her, wait and see. He will turn on the best friend charm and grin his way all the way to the dosh !!

I am sure that Drew and the others will be supportive to Jade or Ed if the other leaves. Drew knows what it is like to lose your best friend and closest person in the house.

He did support Jade when Mikkayla left by saying that things will get easier. He knows how hard it is and he will support her.

Just because they complain about each other and they are getting on each others nerves, it doesn't mean they aren't friends.

Many people complain about their friends but that doesn't mean they won't support them when the chips are down.

Would have been fantastic TV for a good week or so if her cousin/best friend had nominated Ed.

Yeah. They should have warned her. I'm not sure they were following closely enough to get what people have been saying about her chasing Ed. At the very least, even if she didn't nominate Ed, she could have warned her about him in an indirect way.

Yeah; only thing is taking this tough love approach may have left Jade feeling friendless in a place where she cannot say what has happened or risk being punished... At first I agreed with you, but given that it is only two weeks left, the compassionate choice was to not too - as long as they get her through this in a few weeks. Friends don't let friends move to Melbourne for guys who aren't into them.

But, yeah, woulda been great to watch, but.
 
Deep inside myself I know you're right. It's so easy to see people in BB as just characters.

what you're forgetting though is that we see a small snippet of their day and its probably going on a lot and getting real old real fast ... because they see through Ed and his sudden onslaught of PDA's with Jade ... funny how being nominated and hearing his bro's opinion of the relationship being described by others as fake has spurred him on ...

so if they are seeing it, resenting that he's using Jade and she's just not open to seeing it ... well I can understand its annoying them all and they'd just prefer ed and jade got a room :)

the others just seem to want them to join in and have fun with them - they probably know better than us that Ed and Jade ARE actually capable of joining in and adding to the fun and so now that they are being "boring" they want to get them back to being fun again. They probably can't fathom that you'd waste the last 2 weeks segragating yourself for meaningless drivel rather than making the most of the opportunity.

If Jade stepped up and joined in and showed more of her personality (its GOT to be in there somewhere!!! Ed can't have suckED it all out!!) she'd be more likely to get offers of work a little more inspirational than a spread in Zoo magazine .... at the moment though apart from initial 'novelty' value I can't see that casting agents would be fighting over her based on anything she's shown apart from her spectacular body and good looks ... and that will only carry a show so far & no further

The bottom line is, if Ed and Jade were carrying on with anymore intense PDA than they are already, they would show it. BB loves that stuff. The reality is though, last night we saw Drew go insane because they pecked in front of him, Tim bitch because Jade called Ed babe, and Boog mention that Ed winks at Jade. At the end of the day, they're obsessing over nothing and giving the JadEd relationship 10x the amount of interest than the relationship should command in actuality.

If they were really annoyed and angry by seeing Ed step up his interest, and are so sure that Ed's using Jade, then why don't the others call him on it or try and warn Jade? Surely that would get them more support from the audience than them sitting around and bitching obsessively. They say that Ed and Jade's relationship is boring, but they themselves are the ones that are putting it in the limelight. Surely at least Tim would be smart enough to know that their best strategy would just be to not give the relationship any attention at all and put themselves in the limelight instead. Apparently not.

And Jade's dad has already tweeted that they've had job offers come in from all around the world for her lately so I'm sure Jade will be absolutely fine when she gets out.
 
I can see where those of you who say Drew and Tully did the same thing are coming from. However, when they were so wrapped up in each other there were an awful lot more housemates around. With only 6 of them in there now, I would imagine Jade and Ed's similar behaviour would be a lot more noticable to the other housemates and a lot more annoying.

Nothing worse than being around new lovers. The way the feel it is okay to chew each others faces at any given opportunity is vomit worthy!


I hate it when you are with a small group of people, and the new lovers lash each others tonsils right in front of you.

I mean have some class! Public displays of affection which involve tongue should be saved for the alleyways.
 
Just watched the episode now. Ed and Drew are both being hypocritical.

Also notice how Ed can't even use the word love in a sentence. Sorry Jade but If he can't say in a sentence then gurl he ain't ever gonna say to it you.

Interesting but if I were a Tahan fan i'd vote to save Jade and Ed as they'll never win and increase Tahan's chances.
 
Jade or Ed have chance to win as they would get all the anti tim and tahan voters, and those sticking up for the 'boring and nice' group. plus Ed has footy teams/supporters to save him.
Boogs and Drew could have similiar fans as Tim and Tahan because of the 'fun' group but not as big a fan base as Tim and Tahan, who have been playing the game since week 1.
If Boogs is in the final 3 though, some might want her to win because it would be the first time an intruder has won.

I don't remember jade and drew making out in front of everyone else.

People saying they did the same have crushed their crackers. I support drew in the reality that Jade and Ed are both boring and annoying at this point. They are annoying to watch for ten minutes on the show. Living with the two wet blankets has to be torture.
