Episode Day 88 (Thurs 24/10/13): Nominations #12

What a load a shit.

The others wanted the staples to have a bit of flavour & it was only a small amount of chilli.

No, your comment is a load of shit. Tim did it deliberately to hurt Jade. Tim is a nasty arsehole and deserves to be evicted now.

Loved the family noms. As everyone has said, Tims dad was a crackup. Ill be voting for Timbo and may the other cards fall as they may. Hopefully with Ed evict-ED.

jade: I love you
ed: *crickets* *tumbleweeds*

omg cm. That strutting cat is cooool! !!

What a stupid comment. There is less than two weeks to go, so Drew knows he will be with Tully in a short time either way. besides, we know Tully wants Drew to win.

These anti-Drew comments are typical of the rabid Tim supporters.

hahaha what a stupid comment being I am not at this point a supporter of anyone let alone a rabid supporter! I am just enjoying watching the end unfold

Please - you don't see a lot of live music do you? You know, with musicians who actually play a real instrument that they've put a lot of work into mastering instead of clicking a button to produce a rhythym and another click for a different sound and a click for another loop. Go and see a real gig sometime - you might learn what music is.

Yeah I get a drum solo every friggin day, try READING posts before you leap into responding mate.
And if only - pushing buttons and the flick of a switch will get you a noise not music, it is unbelievably complex and difficult what he is doing and a whole lot of young guys in Melbourne, maybe you shouldn't make assumptions and should get with the times.

I don't reckon Boog deserves to be in the finale week. She's only been there 3 weeks. It's stupid. Also can't believe she bawled her eyes out when talking to BB about her mum  It hasn't been very long!!

Agree totally. It should be a well deserved honour to call yourself a final week housemate, and the criteria should be that you survived every eviction from day one to earn that place. Boog only walked in the door five minutes ago. Absolutely ridiculous. I was hoping that crane would lift her right out of the compound and just land on the the nearest road.

don't hate the player, hate the game

I was glad when the crane put her back in the house.

I watched a clip on you tube of headhunters laying a track. Starting with a single beat. And by the end it was epic. Totally blew my mind. Sorry to butt in. Just sayin :)

Oohh, how do you go with watching the show? the two psychologists I know (practicing) say they can't watch it - it makes them cringe too much ...

This show was a lot easier to watch when we had true livestreaming.

Now I find the selective editing frustrating and fan spoon fed reactions fascinating with how easily their opinions are formed by others.

Um maybe be quietly happy and gracious while she's sitting in front of 4 people on the bench? Maybe not make the whole thing about her and keep yelling how happy she is while there's 4 people there who are clearly not happy? Maybe not get up and high-five Boog in front of 4 people who were obviously scared and unhappy sitting on the eviction bench?

It's only a game. Those four on the bench are only scared of not wining, not going to the gallows. I think she took being up week after week after week and sitting on that bench herself in reasonably good grace for the most part. And given she was up soooo many times, I think a bit of celebration on her part is within the spirit of the game. She probably wouldn't have done it if she hadn't been up nine times (or eight or whatever the actual number is) herself.

My point is that yes, everyone can say what they want, but I don't think it is necessary for people to be rude at others for expressing their opinion. I read comments that I don't agree with, but I just ignore it as it is their opinion. If I disagree on the forum, i do try to be diplomatic instead of being rude towards others.

I hope this is clearer..

If only everyone could do this...

My God I've never actually been so angry with a HM that I've wanted to punch them before, but the way Tahan was carrying on when she realised she wasn't up (in front of the nominated HMs) made me feel very, very close to wanting to do it. Very un-classy.

You mean she was arrogant? As Tim often is?

Hardly that even. They probably have a sense of pride just from getting so far and no one even got a lot of points. I'd be surprised if any of them were feeling particularly bad on that bench.

Sure...Even.

(How do you bold sth from so else's quote... I highlight it but it only wants me to copy past cut or define...)

LOL! I've heard the same from others. People with zero insight (like Ed and Jade, Ben/Stacy, Brigitte, Rebecca '07, Tilli '06 from the top of my head) frustrate/d the hell out of me and make me want to whack them over the head with a frypan and yell at them to wake up to themselves. I do, however, watch the show in small chunks online, fast-forwarding the irritating bits and mostly watching the funny stuff. And if people give me the pip I don't watch their nominations. It's not *quite* unwatchable, but then again I don't work in the counselling/psychopathology (mental illness) area, so I'm not exposed to that kind of thing constantly and mostly have my studies to refer to as a point of reference.
