Yeh there may not have been an audience, as we normally hear them all through the HLs so we were spared that at least, but I thought it was advertised as a live show which means some special event. Anyway if it's a late night feast I'd rather it was just some extra program later on for the audience that likes it than taking up a HLs show.

@starry I don't think it was said that Sunday's show would be live officially but it is natural to assume Sonia hosting = live (or recorded live!).

I appreciate some of the deeper editing tonight but the feast is still built upon a contrived event etc etc. It feels like Sunday's show is sitting between being a daily show and a spin off show and it doesn't know which one it wants to be.

I'd suggest they keep the editing along the lines of what they did tonight but ditch the banquet. In other words, edit together Friday & Saturday nights in lieu of a fake-ish dinner party. There were some conversations that came about as a result of the party (and dressing up) - they were fine - even welcomed - because they were natural, and showed some insight into the housemate personalities.
