Episode Day 68 (Fri 4/10/13): Daily Show (30m)

Oh except trying to get Ed to hook up with Madeline and sabotage their relationship. Oh, and calling her best friends fat. Oh, and constantly bitching about her friends. Make it simple and just say you hate Jade

I actually don't hate anyone, but I dislike some more then others. Wouldn't be a show if people didnt.

Precisely, no one else in the room took it seriously, INCLUDING Drew. Drew just saw the $ signs and went " these people think I am their friend, but I just want the cash, so I am going to be bitch, and go tell Tahan a version of this that makes me smell like a Daisy. I'm like Tully, and I don't realise that being on a reality TV show means I am being recorded 24/7. So I will go into the Diary Room and bitch about all of them, because I am awesome"

Exactly

If you can't stand by what you say, then don't say it. If that was me I would have owned up. But Mikkayla tried deflecting, jade got amnesia and Drew retold the story very differently from the original story. The truth would have been the best option. No one can ever tell the truth. But that can be said of Tahan also, as when she got busted saying Lucy was dumb and god help the kids if she is a teacher, Tahan wriggled out of that moment with a very different relaying of what she said. They're all as bad as each other

Tahan doesn't say things from some deep dark insecure place like Mikkayla and Jade.

Really? Saying she is better than everyone is someone that is insecure. If you really think you are better than everyone you won't need to always say it because you will be confident enough in yourself to not have to broadcast it to everyone. She might appear confident but deep down she is pretty insecure that's why she is always look at herself in the mirror.
Coincidently, someone that was pretty confident in herself was Estelle. She didn't care what others think.

One thing you can count on in every Big Brother. Hypocrisy will run rampant.

Ok let's be real - I watched it twice and still can't recall the exact words that were said by Jade. How would Jade remember it hours and hours after she said it? It's just stupid.

Mikkayla is no angel either

Maybe Drew didn't hear the "no I'm just joking part" in which case he would seem a little bit less of a prick, but I daresay his intentions when telling Tahan in the first place were to cause some sort of argument between the two

Yes lets be real - Jade & Mikkayla were on the back foot and panicky in their denials and attempts to cover their asses
They both knew what was said - maybe not word perfect but what Tahan repeated back to them would have jolted their memories ... Jade couldnt bring herself to own up to what she said because she KNEW right away when she said it that it was an awful thing to say and she felt some remorse ... Mikkayla however ... she meant it ... she would have covered Tahan with dirt & p'd on it if she could ...

I had wondered if maybe Drew did wander off or didn't hear the oh that's terrible - of course I don't really want her dead rebuttal of Jade's but then that would just be wishful thinking on my part I think (always a sucker for those blue eyes) ... I can't see him not sticking around to hear the whole conversation and leaving it mid-rant ...

God, I hate fans of housemates. This goes for both Tahan and Mikk/Jade fans. They are all fucking flawed and nobody is right/wrong. Tahan DOES backtrack a lot when she says something horrible (Lucy being stupid comment) and she never clearly admitted what she did to Mikkayla when apologizing to her, she was just vague about it and Mikkayla had to hear it from Jade later that her weight was being made fun of in the heat of the moment. Tahan, in both my examples, was in the WRONG, no two ways about it. However, Mikkayla does eat a lot (see? I'm impartial).

Now for today's incident, Jade said something in outrage after hearing about Tahan's "outwit/outplay" comment. It was reactional just as Tahan's thing was about Mikkayla's weight. She clearly said she didn't mean it literally 5 seconds later - it was just purely anger and frustration. Just like Tahan's impersonation, again. It was WRONG, but it does NOT make her some psycho killer. We have all said stupid things in the heat of the moment, let's not twist things around just because we favour one housemate over another. The only ones who end up looking stupid is us.

Just once I would love to see an objective discussion about these people's behaviour instead of comments designed to campaign for votes.

This is no place for fence-sitters...comes across as insulting to people who have strong views. It's also irritating...imagine if everyone on the forum was balanced in their opinions. Dull.

Tahan's bitchiness is overated.

If you can defend Jade by saying it was in the heat of the moment, you can say Tahan's insult towards Mikkayla was heat of the moment as well. She called the Sisters dumb, yes, but has also been called dumb by Mikkayla, the same person who was outraged by Tahan calling someone dumb.

Tahan doesn't go to the diary room calling Mikkayla fat or people dumb. Her dislike of the girls is annoyance that they are still there because she knows they will nominate her every week.
You've definitely missed footage of more than a couple of Tahan's diary room visits.

I'm going to discuss both sides of this from hopefully an unbiased POV...

What Jade and Mikkayla said was nasty and Tahan had the right to know. However what Drew repeated wasn't correct. Jade went on to say 'Actually, I would care if she died...but I'm not a fan' and Drew gave no mention of this, essentially making the situation seem worse and more vindictive than it actually was.

Jade admitted to Tahan that something was said along those lines, but had obviously been taken out of context when repeated to her, which is true. Drew admitted to being in the room but denied saying those words to Tahan (not true, you liar)

And now Jade has realised that Drew is repeating things to people, but twisting the words. She is right not to trust him.

Tahan had the right to be upset, but shouldn't be ashamed for showing it.

And in conclusion....these girls need to talk to each other and sort their bloody issues out.

Spot on.
It was interesting that BB showed that clip in the kitchen 3 times, the first two times ended when they were just laughing about what was just said the 3rd time they then showed that Jade did actually regretted saying it.

Let's just be rational (*deep breath* again) - is their any evidence that Jade and Mikk have been digging a hole to bury Tahan in? Have they conversed about the weapons they intend to murder Tahan with? If you seriously think Jade and Mikk intend to kill Tahan, I suggest you call 000 in Australia. I don't know the international numbers, but if you are worried that Tahan will be murdered, please google or contact your Australian consulate. You are also welcome to complain to Channel 9 and request they remove all implements from the house that Jade and Mikk will use to kill Tahan

Also, Tahan's whole "Oh! I don't care that I'm nominated. I don't. I don't care. Really, I don't care." As she then immediately proceeds to cry, followed by more of "I don't *sniffles* care that I'm nominated." Uh...yeah.....suuure, you don't care.

Surprised my eyes haven't fallen out, due to all the eye rolling I've been doing as a result of that blatant bullshit.

If Drew hadn't told Tahan, nothing would have happened, Jade's comment and her immediate regret of saying it would have been just another moment in the day like all other silly comments made by all housemates, and wouldn't have even made it onto the show

I don't agree at all Jades comment would have been a big deal as it is but Drews taking focus.

Maybe I can get my point across with an example, when I was in school 2 friends were mucking around and one fell and got hurt I was asked later by a friend what happened and I said oh so and so got hurt. Well later that day I was called into the principals classroom and reprimanded for no joke 2 hours I was basically held responsible for the girl who got hurt coz I had spoken of the accident.

Totally doesn't make sense right, that's how I feel about this, Jade and Mikkayla were wrong in what they said and never apologised who cares if it was repeated we know everyone except maybe Ben would have repeated a comment like that had they been there to hear it said about any housemate.

Ok, as much as I think drew was stiring shit. I've just re watched the part where he tells Tahan. He did get he wording wrong, but he started to say "then she said nah just joking, but the editing cuts it off.

so another clever edit to stir the pot and put the heat on Drew this week?

are they wanting the Drew / Tully reunion for another ratings boost??

I don't think Tahan has ever said she is better than anyone, she is just honest with what she thinks. Others want to pretend they are something else, from Tim to Ben, from Jade to Mikkayla
