Episode Day 68 (Fri 4/10/13): Daily Show (30m)

Why is it a problem that Drew told Tahan?
Did people mind when Mikkayla told the Sisters about Tahan calling them dumb?
Or when Jade told Mikkayla about Tahan's impression?
Or is it only ok to bitch about someone when you've got friends?

yeah I don't get the crucify drew thing either, he doesn't owe any of them anything, jade acts like he's somehow her property
and guys do this all the time, they think girls are being stupid

and all he did was edit, same as I would - basically those girls said they wouldn't give a crap if you died, that's how boys edit what girls say
he isn't evil he's just floating, and doing some mischief to suit his own ends, big deal

and if you hadn't noticed a few of them laugh at the girls bitching about each other being bitches

Mikkayla HATES Tahan with such a passion its actually quite scary! It was pathetic of her to try and steer the blame onto Tahan for what was said.

Jealousy I think, it seems like she hates that Tahan bothers to keeps her body/herself in general looking nice. Little sad really. Mikkayla is just as mean as Tahan but she tries to make that a reason as well.

Jade in general has been a lot nicer than the two at least.

I'm going to discuss both sides of this from hopefully an unbiased POV...

What Jade and Mikkayla said was nasty and Tahan had the right to know. However what Drew repeated wasn't correct. Jade went on to say 'Actually, I would care if she died...but I'm not a fan' and Drew gave no mention of this, essentially making the situation seem worse and more vindictive than it actually was.

Jade admitted to Tahan that something was said along those lines, but had obviously been taken out of context when repeated to her, which is true. Drew admitted to being in the room but denied saying those words to Tahan (not true, you liar)

And now Jade has realised that Drew is repeating things to people, but twisting the words. She is right not to trust him.

Tahan had the right to be upset, but shouldn't be ashamed for showing it.

And in conclusion....these girls need to talk to each other and sort their bloody issues out.

Well said.

Why aren't more people expressing their joy for the fact that Drew finally got exposed for the rat that he is?!!?? The epitome of double-agent.

The way he was just so-satisfyingly grinning in the DR when he said "someone may have told Tahan what the girls said" epitomized the attitude of the quintessential "mean girl" shit-stirrer, in high school. Just when every one thought Drew would get better without Tully...dare I say, he's gotten marginally worse?!

Call me crazy, but am I the only one feeling this way???

I don´t think Drew remembered the correct words just the meaning of it and thats what he told Tahan. I doubt he wanted to twist Jades words on purpose.

I know we'd love to keep seeing Drew through "he's got beautiful blue eyes" glasses ... but he's a player - always has been ... he's smart, articulate and he's been very clever until now ...

I would rather see him in the house than Ed though ... I'm over the whole cards thing ... the on/off/interested/not interested thing ...

I'd rather Drew's manipulations than Ed's snoozefest 'chats' - even Drew picked up on the repetitive quality of Ed ... on and on with the same stuff

Also like the Tim/Drew mischief making ... he makes a great sidekick for Tim and I don't think anyone else could do it.

Mikkayla did the same thing as Drew to begin the combo, taking something out of context to make Tim and Tahan look bad. Jade can fell as betrayed as she want but she never said it to Drew it was to the group. So you can't expect it not to get round.

Ok whoever asked what started it:

Mikkayla came into the kitchen and recounted the outwit outlast convo she heard while waiting to go into the diary room. That started the convo in the kitchen that culminated in jade saying the dead in a hole comment, and mikkaylas dirt commen.

I don't think it's really a bad thing to tell people about something that rude

It's not, but tell them the truth not twisting the words to suit Drew's agenda. (which was drama)

but doesn't what he did make for more interesting content than kookaburra shots, Ed in the gym or DR updates (same ole same ole), sunbaking or navel gazing?

There's a difference between saying "I wish she was dead" rather than "If she died, I wouldn't care"

Yes! And it is a common thing that people say in the heat of the moment just like 'I won't even spit on him if he was on fire'. It's a horrible joke but it is just a joke and she realised that it would sound horrible right after. It was such a small thing but made so much bigger because of slimy Drew.

Drew is kinda a scapegoat for Jade tonight if he hadn't repeated the comments then we would all be so mad at Jade and Mikk for being bitchy so lets focus on that rather than blame people. After all that for me is the real issue they said something very nasty and didn't apologise for it, who cares it was spread, its not like you said it privately.

If it wasn't for Drew tonight instead of watching the fallout we would have been watching them in the gym, lying in the sun or watching jade stare at Ed, at least it was entertaining. Tim would have definitely repeated it and I doubt he would be called the same names as Drew, for the ppl who are angry are you saying you would not tell someone that comment?

I'm sick to death of Tahan going on about how she's the most honest person in the house and still gets nominated blah blah blah. Oh this is me and I won't change for anyone. Um you kind of do have to change if it means that no-one likes you - start realising this!! Yes what Jade and Mikkayla said wasn't nice but it was a heat of the moment comment. And Drew's such a bitch for relaying it back to her and completely changing what they said. I hope he's evicted next week,

Hmmmm. Rewatching this makes me wonder something...

Jade saw Tahans nominations right? But she isn't allowed to talk about it to the others. If she goes on the attack, do you think she's trying to signal other housemates?

good point - it would be a totally different thing if she'd said it in confidence ... however I still think it would have gotten back to Tahan
