Ah I know this is stereotyping/offensive but I did wonder that too - as it is a medically proven fact that Indigenous people are at a much higher risk of developing alcoholism, & other alcohol/addiction-related illnesses when exposed to alcohol. Partly to do with them only being exposed to alcohol over the past 200-odd years (as opposed to other countries, + thousands) & also due to familial histories of alcohol abuse (as alcoholism/some mental illnesses with a propensity to abuse alcohol, are believed to be hereditary)
