Episode Day 4 Daily Show and Nominations - 12/11/2025

Do you need a log in to vote and are votes limited?

I do think with online voting bringing back Save or Evict would make sense - give each voter 5 votes to use as they wish. This week they'd all be to evict.

Login to vote yes, unsure about limited.

Also yes, 5 votes each. Like the HMs 5 points.
 
Yes, you need to log in. You only get one vote per period. I voted last night, not long after it opened, and it's still thanking me for voting.
 
The biggest issue, I have with last night's episode was having both family dinner and nominations in the same show, that's over 3 hours of contact to edit into a 1 hour show plus everything else that happened during the day.

The daily show edit was great, for me they have found a great balance, it was always going to be hard to show full dinner and nominations in one hour. the nominations part with the music and the looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooogn pause by BB was unnecessary.

Also BB needs to start putting his foot down with the HMs, they are going to walk all over him if he keeps being their best friend, I'm not saying he needs to go full Nick BB from 06 and 07 on them but he needs to put a line in the stand, when he talks, they shut up and listen, if he asks for something to be done, they do it and they only ever refer to BB as Big Brother and nothing else.

Mel is awesome, loving the jokes. She is 100% the right choice for this format, I can't wait to see her become more comfortable and grow into the role.

A vote to evict would almost certaionly see Holly go. And, if it were a vote to evict, I'd guess this ... she broke Estelle Landy's "number of nominations" record, she'd possibly break the "number of votes received for eviction" record as well.
 
I'm just writing up a recap and realised I need to actually take notes during the show LOL does anyone remember the nomination reasons from last night?
  • Bruce gives 4 points to Mia because she brings up topics he doesn't want to talk about. He also gives 1 point to Coco because she's a temptation to him but he doesn't want to do anything with her because she has kids.
  • Coco nominates Michael for 4 points because they have different morals then Bruce for 1 because he's the next generation of Michael.
  • Mia nominates Holly for 4 and Bruce for 1 but her reasons weren't fully included int he show, may have been calling out controversial topics that weren't included in the daily shows.
  • Michael nominates Abiola for 3 and Colin for 2.
  • Abiola voted Holly for 2 and Colin for 3.
  • Colin nominates Mia for 2 points and Michael for 3.
  • Vinnie gives 3 points to Holly and 2 points to Mia.
  • Allana gives 4 to Michael and 1 to Holly.
  • Edward gives 4 to Abiola and 1 to Holly.
  • Holly gives 4 points to Mia and 1 to Michael.
  • Emily nominates Holly for 3 points and Vinnie for 2 because of strategy.
  • Jane votes Holly for 3 points and Coco for 2.
  • Conor nominates Holly for 4 points and Michael for 1 point.

The overpolicing of reasons by BB in the past was dumb. Bruce was reasons were shallow and Idiotic but they were clear and not generic.

Estelle doesn’t have the record for nomination points in a round.

Charne got 22 in the first week of 2012 whereas Estelle got 19 in week 6. Both instances the girls were nominated by 7 people. Keeping in mind tho when charne got nominated only girls could receive points.

In 2004 Igor got 17 points in week 1 from 10 different housemates. I’m pretty sure he is the technical record holder by being nominated by the most “people” in a week. Not even tahan and Camilla were ever nominated by that many people in a week.

Back in the 10 era, that was massive, because each HM only had 3 points, 2 and 1 to nominate, so to get more then 15 was a big thing as most of the house had to nominate you and you knew you had done something to piss EVERYONE off but from the 9 era, getting 15 or so points was bit more common, get 15, it could only be from 4 others, so not as meaningful in the few weeks with more housemates.
