The first time I went to The Cross, a bloke walked past me and was mumbling, half stopped in his tracks ... Sounded like he was asking for directions... thought I'd take the time to explain that I wasn't from Sydney and was in town for a concert and maybe one of my friends (who had kept walking) might know directions blah blah blah.... Ha!
Country chick meets city drug dealer. ...Needless to say I got ripped a new one by my mates who didn't realise I'd stopped to have a nice chat with this fellow!!
He seemed harmless enough.
