I don't usually post, but love to read everyone's comments on the forums. I am getting seriously frustrated with the Jade "love" however, so had to put my two cents in. I cannot take her at all, she is so into herself it is ridiculous. She is one of those girls who only cares about boys and would dump her friends the minute a guy shows interest in her. She is only friends with girls who she thinks aren't as pretty as she is, so that they worship at the alter of her beauty. Also she does nothing! The party last night, still lingering on what Jasmine said (even though it was good advice), trying to trap Ed into saying something to keep her pathetic infatuation going and while everyone else is letting loose and having fun, she doesn't involve herself! All night the camera showed shots of her doing nothing! Do not get it at all, when there are gorgeous fun people in the house they could be showing.

I like her. I'm not thinking she is perfect but I do like her. I can see some of why you might have your views but just to throw some other angles.
-She is infatuated with Ed (much as it annoys me) and stuff like that doesn't just disappear. A lot of people were asking pointed questions that night and she was just one of them. Tully was asked about Drew for example and while Ed was asked about Jade it was the others doing a lot of that questioning as well.
-She has been in a modelling world for a long time so I imagine a lot of the girls she has been around are a bit more superficial and mean and catty so I can kinda understand in this instance why she says that she doesn't like what girls bring to the table. Looking good could have also made a lot of other girls bitchy towards her because of THEIR jealousy. I don't think we have seen anything about her only liking girlfriends who are less pretty than her???
That said, I do think she is insecure and so (it may sound contradictory to the above) she probably does feel more confidence if she feels the prettiest, but that to me is quite different to saying she won't be friends with pretty girls, it could just be she loses confidence.
I do also agree that she would probably (unfortunately) be the type to drop everything for a guy. I expect that happens again from her insecurities versus from a mean or uncaring side. Still doesn't make it Ok but to me the driver of her actions isn't about being mean or self-centred versus being insecure ...and so I'm more forgiving of it.
This all made sense in my head .....apologies if it just came out as a ramble
plus its just plain lazy on their parts
but after a certain hour we always get the "well thats all until 8am tomorrow" so its obvious they don't have the staff on to keep updating the vision through the night and keep on top of getting good material ... you wonder if they just shut cameras down so that if a few housemates DID get up and go out and chat in other rooms whether they would even catch it!
Its 8-midnight Big Brother not 24/7 Big Brother ...
I am watching it as I type and I think they are just a GREAT bunch of people and fabulous housemates for us to watch.
I would love to be invited to one of their dinners! They are filled with great conversation, good food and super amounts of fun!

or is it just my own choices and quite normal ... and in some cases (eg drugs) just an intelligent, informed decision people make in life?

You were fine (not mean in my view). I was just throwing another view in. I have opinions on most of the housemates and am open to the fact I could be wrong with those opinions so enjoy hearing and sharing differing considerations.
People who refuse to face facts or try to create falsehoods to promote their views piss me off but you were just giving an opinion so all cool by me.

Would love the sisters first experience with porn to be some of the shocking euro trash; does that me evil? Also love how all the other housemates were talking about one type of porn only as well. Ummm I don't think it is helthy to watch porn all day if it is some weird strain of scary porn!! Heidi etc all thought they were such hot shit with their acceptance of porn too oooo so mainstream, Tim shut them up good. No one of the girls even mentioned the degrading aspect of some pron either.

Tims response was very good I thought. In my mind it wasn't that he is a prude (I think we all know he wouldn't be) I think he was making it obvious he puts effort and focus on who he is with and what he is doing and enjoying that connection without relying on something external to make it work.
For the record Im fine with porn (as long as the people involved seem to genuinely be happy and enjoy it) but I could very much see Tims point of view.
Oh and Tully was clearly trying to make herself look sexy by creating this idea she is home alone a lot watching porn and masterbating. She is so incredibly see through - little miss cellophane

I loved Tim's answer. For the first time it made me contemplate doing the dirty with him and I must admit I didn't mind the thought...oh lord what has become of me?

I can't understand the hideous Heidi hate in here though. Take your comment for example and your interpretation of the porn convo, I saw it as Tim voicing his opinion and Heidi and the others respecting it. That is what normal people do. That is how people learn and grow and their opinions change. I like Heidi, she is obviously a much loved housemate inside the house, sure she is loud and a straight shooter, but I love the fact she is up front and direct, it would appear her housemates do too.

Yeah I saw them getting very close, and obviously very comfortable and attracted to one other. But, I gotta think something has to happen between being like that and saying I love you. And that thing, well I don't know if anyone's put this out there yet, is: Drew and Tully had sex after the party.
