Episode Day 24 (1/10/2014) Intruder Special

I am SO fucking pissed that this intruder has not even seen bb or has any concept of what it is.
giphy.gif

I bet the 18,000 who auditioned and missed out are pretty pissed off too.

I remember both Tully and Mikayla got strikes last year for talking about the nominations and Caleb lost points for trying to influence the sugar sisters.
This year they changed the rules. Housemates can take about nominations now and form alliances

I can't help but think Lisa is hypocrital. She nominates Cat for wearing short shorts yet the dress she wore tonight almost showed her vagina.

She's jealous.

Same shit with her problems with Skye.

It was utterly ridiculous.

You know what it is, it reminded me of when someone doesn't like someone they get angry at that person enjoying themselves. So everything annoys them. She doesn't like Cat, is a big jealous for whatever insecure reasons and seeing her dancing having fun irked her. Maybe looking at skinnier cat having fun... I don't know. It was just ridiculous.

Also with Cat, because she got the most votes to save and Katie went.

ive never seen bbus, nor heard of this jury system.
some intruders can go pretty far, like vesna'05 or perry'06, but they are definitely swimming against the tide.
Yes, in the U.S. it is all strategic, because the player that is the HOH nominates two people, who then have a chance to be saved through a veto, and then replaced by someone else (often the strategy is that one person nominated is not the real target, but are saved and then replaced with the real target-who no longer has a chance to save himself or herself- this is known as "backdooring" a player) Then the house votes who to evict between the two nominees.
After a certain number of weeks, the evicted players go into a sequestered jury house and form the jury. The jury votes to decide the ultimate winner between the final two players.

The public does not vote at all for evictions.

Leo already bookended by Skye and Cat.

Skye looks like she wants to lick him.
Would like to lick those biceps myself just quietly.

anywhoooo..

Nominees are: 7 of them...everyone shocked about Aisha. Lisa's swear both blurred out and sound wiped. Lisa not happy. Travis pissed off. Skye disappointed. Jake kicking himself for kissing girls - should have kissed boys. David a bit hurt by 18 points and trying to cover it with clown.

Leo being put in his place by the boys...but...can see him and Lawson (believe it or not) hitting it off. Lawson a little pissed as he is finally a leader guy somewhere, then in walks Mr Wonderful with the crinkly eyes and sparkling smile and biceps to crush walnuts on.

Skye and Sandra probably both know him from the GC auditions. Sandra's reaction to him entering the kitchen suggested she knew Leo...

I don't mind Cat but just find it so difficult to imagine her going through the stages of auditions without fading into the background. What was it about her that made an impression? I don't get it at all. Maybe the divorcee thing?

Seriously, even if Leo doesn't watch the show, JUST LIE AND SAY YOU DO! Be strategic. He has zero chances of winning this game.

They would have been a lot more worried if he said he watched every show until he went into lockdown at the weekend and he knows who to trust and who to avoid and who's doing all the tittle tattling, behind peoples backs. That would have shaken Prisus up too, even though she isnt nominated this week.

A few thoughts on tonight's show:

- It seems a bit soon for another double eviction, too gimmicky and also means less time on the Monday show for the weekend's footage.
- It's also too early for intruders, and if the housemates were smart, that could be a clue that the show isn't going so well.
- I didn't like Sonia talking over the footage, that was a chance to show us a natural, uncut conversation, as close to live footage as we get now and they gave us a voiceover instead.
- I'm not liking the nominations talk, I would have liked some indication that that was going to be punished.
- Going off Priya a bit, but that doesn't really bother me. I wanted her to survive this week as validation for her stance during Gemma's eviction, but that doesn't matter from next week on.
- I have no real connection to anyone this year, even Priya.
- The intruder didn't grab me, but starting from a low expectation could be a good thing for him.
- I have no idea who will go?
- David could be in trouble, not sure of his audience popularity?
- Lisa isn't popular, but does get airtime, which matters in a vote-to-save. But then, so did Katie.
- Cat's high save vote last week could have been a one-off due to her argument with Lisa.
- I forget Jake exists, plus he was in the least saved pairing the first week.
- The younger housemates might share a fanbase?
- I would love Travis to go, but I'm happy enough whoever does. These people do nothing for me.

Also Ryan, he did that gross thing right at the start of the season.

Him complaining about being being rude. Then he's there picking his nose. When BB calls him out his attitude is, 'doesn't affect me, not rude.'

Yep more of that inner arsehole shinning through again.

I am no longer indifferent to Ryan and Sam...I now dislike them intensely :(

Hate how the discuss tactics and noms openly. Bring back the old rules and then bring back the strikes.

While I like knowing what they are thinking I don't like that they can openly discuss it with others.

Ryan mentions the older crew vs the younger crew divide, Sam says at least Skye will be nominated tonight and that he is going to give David another week.

It sounds like Lawson, Sam, Ryan, Sandra, and possibly Cat may have an alliance.

I rather enjoyed it previously when they had to find ways around being so blatant about it.

yeah Sam,Sandra,Lawson and Cat have an alliance of sorts... and Ryan was Sam's partner so they included him, and Lisa's part of that cool group now that Katie has left.
