Episode Day 24 (1/10/2014) Intruder Special

Still can't believe Lisa nominated Cat for wearing a sports bra and shorts. Who died and make her Queen of Apparel. Does she even know what a bra looks like? How could she be sure it was a bra?

Can't wait to watch the shrrrrmozzle in about quarter of an hour and give my thoughts...

...and will look out for the Lisa swear and see if it is still blurred - usually WA gets that stuff fully edited out because our time delay allows them to polish it all up a bit.

Lisa to gooooooo baby....and win a Bras n Things gift card as part of the prizes...maybe audience members could throw bras to her as she walks down the eviction race.... Sonia could even wriggle out of hers on stage and offer it to Lisa... (Gretel would soooo be making rocks in socks jokes.)

There's definitely a bubble in here and on this site as a whole but as we saw last night with the % Priya got, the bubble can work sometimes and we DO matter in our own way because it sure wasn't kids voting for Priya. And as we were all singing the praises about last Thurs and Fri when @Tim figured it out and prompted a reply from Alex, he IS trying within the constraints of what everyone who works for a network or studio has to deal with. That's all anyone can ask for. The guy isn't some god who can take on Gyngell and shareholders.

I almost posted last night in the DS thread asking if there's a minimum age for who can attend the live shows without a parent because I swear that crowd was 90% tweens/teens. Those people have no concept of the first BBAU and they love this one... and they're using their pocket $ to vote. But that doesn't mean the show is horseshit now. It's just different. Some of the people on here were their age once watching BBAU #1 and for all we know they would've fallen in love with this version too.

I just think it is what you make of it. The chronology isn't hard to figure out as it's not weeks past as it is in The Block. We know it's the day before as we have enough sleuths here each night to prove it. The old way stopped working or it wouldn't have been sacked from Ten so the alternative is no BB, and really no reason for this forum. That's a pretty dire thought.

What the fuck was Sonia trying to do a bit of describing the conversation?

Oh they already have a promo about the storyline they want of the girls fighting over this man.

He's only 30? Dude looks at least 38.

I didn't mind him, but at times he seemed a bit too staged. I also hate the whole, 'no tv schtick.'


Everyone upset about something David did, so massive he got nominated multiple times for it, yet it didn't make the daily show edit! Now maybe nominations were today and that was yesterday. Who knows though with the fluid time dynamics of the BB house.


How is so much nomination talk and collusion allowed?


I feel David has become their 'holier than now' scapegoat. As in David does pretty much the same as everyone else, but as he's not popular or in a power group they pick on him. Pointing out all the bad things they and their friends do. Blaming it on him. Complain about him, as a way to pretend they don't do it.
