Episode Day 22 Eviction Show - 30/11/2025

I see Abiola kept her mic after walking off with it.

,,,well,,,she DID have an obligation to record a " goodbye to the house....."If you're watching this i have taken 15 bands from your prizemoney and am going to be sleeping on this huge wad of ca$h whilst you smell the farts of the remaining specimens inside"

It might hold up on TV, but I think it's more down to there being a certain number of people watching the show on TV and keep watching it because they can't find anything better on TV.
Considering we live in a world where viewers aren't restricted to five main FTA networks and have a myriad of on demand services and options available to them, that argument just doesn't fly.

If people aren't liking what they're seeing, they wouldn't keep tuning in.

Keep dreaming that dream, baby.

These live shows are becoming more unhinged as we go along. Thankfully I watched the replay to skip all the uncessary stuff but real tragedy is Holly's eviction. I find it hard to believe she had less votes than Bruce but, whatevs. Yes, she was a menace, but her delusional theatre was incredible only because I loved reading's peoples reactions to her on this forum. We've now lost our antagonist, and the producers can continue to force feed us Colin's winner narrative which NO ONE HAS ASKED FOR.

You might not be restricted to five main networks, but that doesn't mean that everyone makes use of the added variety. Choice overload is a thing. Most people that watched FTA TV yesterday won't consider streaming today. Most people that watch FTA today won't consider streaming tomorrow. They're going to pick their entertainment from the same pool of choices they have.

I don't have data for Australia, but if you don't mind using Google Translate, i can show you data from Europe that shows that people tend to pick their entertainment form a limited pool of options. But you might also check and see if Big Brother drew a huge number of young people back to FTA or if it's mainly the ones that already watched FTA last year but now switch to Big Brother instead of watching whatever they've watched last year.

It's obviously not true for every single person, but it's true for a bigger group of people.

I totally missed this when watching the show - an out of focus Colin was looking at the camera during the pause before Holly's name was read out (and ruining the shot).

How was what I said an unrealistic comment?

In this day and age, people simply aren't going to watch something they don’t like or don't want to watch. For better or worse, BB's ratings performance so far suggests that this season is resonating with viewers. If it wasn't, the conversations we would be having would be very different.
