Thursday's are usually a slightly shorter show anyway (30mins, not 40mins) so maybe they're already pre-planning to air exclusively nighttime/nominations aftermath footage (meaning 2 days behind again).

Travis and Lawson had suspicions so went through their luggage, found it took it. It's not as bad as it sounds, literally just, open suitcase, find it, take, zip up, done.
