Episode Day 16: Daily show + nominations #2

Jade aggressively made the move to kiss Ed both times and yet somehow Eds at fault? You guys are kidding yourself.

He's questioning hard jade is coming onto him especially after the whole Drew thing, just like any guy would.

Exactly! If you look at the last video update from tonight it's clear that Jade is trying to make Ed jealous now by asking Drew to come and scratch her back whilst she lies in the bed opposite him facing the same direction.

Tim is a bully. Tully is vulnerable. Bullies pick on vulnerable people.

Tim is confrontational and says stuff like it out in the open, while Tully just bitches about people behind their backs (though not as much as Tahan) and occasionally says it out in the open.

lulz coz that's just like wot little old confrontational me has discovered about this place. :D

Some final thoughts/replies about the noms for the night. Did anyone catch the major evils coming from the other HMs when Rohan did his moonwalk back to his chair? Not a great way to win favour IMO.

Has Drew cracked a fat yet? apparently if he does, that means he likes her :D

I read that as fart not fat and was really concerned for a moment that you saw flatulence as a sign of attraction!

Huge fight between Xavier and Jasmine according to the nominations, except we never would hear about this. Rohan also getting nomination points for things we never actually see. This stuff gets shafted from the highlights and live updates for inane Jade kissy time. Fuck Channel 9 and the production team for ruining this show.

I know. Does everyone notice how they are mentioning things in the nominating chamber about the housemates that we have never seen? We never saw Tahan pull the squigee out of Ben's hand etc. etc.

This has always been a problem since BBs return which I don't understand because these fights seem family friendly and the producers obviously know they are big deals to the HMs yet they simple don't cover them? For example I haven't seen anything between Tahan v Ben but we did catch a little of Jasmin v Xavier when Jaz well telling him they need to communicate more in the kitchen. Otherwise that's all we've seen about these fights!

Tim deliberately goes out of his way to upset her. She's being shunned in the house bar 2 people

But this is where Estelle was able to regain some favour in that she started to stand up for herself and call people out on their shit. Tully is yet to do this as far as I can see, she just cries or avoids.

Regarding Ben vs. Tahan, it is reasonable to assume that the Producers didn't think window cleaning was very exciting television and didn't know how much it upset Ben until nominations. Perhaps we'll see it in a recap now it's been referenced?

I LOVE WHAT TIM DID IN THE NOMINATION BOX! He is so flippin hilarious and everything he says makes so much sense to me! Go Tim!!!! Also so sad for Ben being nominated but hopefully he enjoys his time in the halfway house. I wonder how the nomination swap will work this week. Hopefully Tully stays nominated. I'm hoping it will be a Ben > Jade switch.

Jade obviously isn't heart broken as she's back into the arms of Drew tonight. In the end though I really don't blame Jade for wanting to get a piece of them both. :p

Your avatar looks like Jasmin

I loved this episode. It feels like everyone has stopped thinking this is a vacation and realised that if they don't get their act together the big players will get a free ride right till the end (like Heidi and Tim were saying on one of the daily shows). I hope this continues, this could be a very interesting series if it does.

I've given the BB producers shit for the lame gimmicks in the first week, but it looks like every little thing has worked in their favour, so massive props to them. I am back on board, please don't fuck it up!

Also, as much as nominations being LIVE are tradition, I feel like this is so much better paced when it's pre recorded. Bang, bang, bang, from each nomination to the next, no fucking around.

last thoughts;

HAHAHAHAHA at Tim telling Tully off! So fucking perfect, I love it! Best HM by far.

I enjoyed the awkward love triangle going on in the daily show. Felt a lot more real then last years fakers (remember Michael and Estelle?)

Tully continues to be a sook, she needs a kick up the ass. Maybe spending a week on the shit side will do that for her, probably not though. I pray that she isn't saved before nominations are final.

And Tim for the fucking win. Can't go wrong with that guy.

Still think the stage looks really awkward for nominations - they panned out a bit more tonight so it seems it was at Dreamworld, and looks like they experimented further with their instant teleporting nominations chamber for the 100% live nominations show.

So, who are the people in the audience? Are they genuine or hired people? How did they get the tickets in the first place?
Idiots it seems - really annoyed me tonight how they reacts to Ben and the non-twin twins as if they were toddlers. Really hope by some miracle Ben goes this week, but no doubt he'll end up getting saved.

Is this seriously the only storyline happening in the house, because I really doubt it. No more footage of Jade trying to get laid please. The other housemates have all become support characters in this stupid fake romance, when they all should be getting attention in their own right. The selective editing makes me want to puke.

I feel like I'm 12 too Ed and Jade, watching all this stupid highschool romance bullshit.
Looks like it's set up for the week too. Not even Ed is interested in the Jaded story.

To blame for what? If you were single and Ed (or Drew for that matter) asked you for a second kiss, if he then asked if you'd like to share a bed, given there was actually a shortage at that time and the rest of the HM's practically set it up, how would you have acted? Drew may well fancy Jade, they were put in a situation where they had to act very intimate for a week after all and there are limited singles in the house this year, but, from Jade's perspective she also has to put some limits in place. I think she likes Drew but she doesn't want to lead him on either. I think she's trying to be as honest as she can with her feelings but she's basically in a no-win situation.

Ed on the other hand is acting like a victorian virgin, all hot to trot one minute and then having the vapours about his reputation the next and he absolutely is thinking about how this would play out both in the house and with the voting public. If he had a vagina he'd be getting called a cock tease.

edit for typo

Thanks for that, so nicely put. I too thought of 'virgin' while watching him. What we saw on display was an attractive young woman attempting to interact with a little boy with big muscles who was completely out of his depth. What a loser.

Tully really needs to go.

On a short note Tim has now become my favorite housemate with his funny quirky antics and honesty.

He can push it too far though - that nomination of Tully was rather annoying, though not half as annoying as the people covering their mouths. BB should call the likes of Xavier out on that - it's ridiculous and just makes them look stupid.

Let me guess... A Tully fan?

Nope. Absolutely not.

If you're questioning God's existence don't say hell exists... bit of a contradiction.

Well... my 'questioning' the existence of a god was merely a manner of speech... trying to avoid the whole religious debate. In fact I know that there's no such thing as a god. (I do hope you realise that asking me for proof will fall on deaf ears.)

Regarding Hell, I was about to use River Styx instead but according to the time-table the next boat isn't due 'til Friday. Now, to spell it out: I do know that there is no hell in the biblical sense but there sure as hell is a Hades. :p

Any question?

Tully is this years Estelle, they should all stop bullying her. she will go far

Tully is nothing like Estelle. Tully gets involved in the gossip and tries to turn others against one another. Estelle never gossiped. Tully brings her own problems onto herself.

I agree with you, Ludwar. Estelle was miles better than Tully, the sookie-lala...

Exactly. I would never make that comparison. Estelle was a bit of a cry baby too but that's where the similarities end.

I want Tully out. Tim was hilarious this episode. I want more Tahan time because I don't understand why she's up there.

I keep forgetting Drew is a genuinely smart guy because his noms surprised me a little. He's being strategic all the way so far, and his reasoning makes complete sense. Wouldn't expect anything else from my male twin.
