I am an editor there and some people still insists that the day even starts on Day 1, so people are reverting the days to Day 1 almost every time.Oh yeah. So, within the BB-verse (specifically BBAU and BBUK), live seasons typically follow Day numbers, not Episode numbers (as opposed to the Seven era or versions like BBUS and BBCA). With the current 6-episode per week series, the episode number will gradually fall behind by one for every week the season runs (i.e. this Sunday will be Day 15 but Episode 13, next Sunday will be Day 22 but Episode 19, and so on).
I’m just looking at the Wikipedia page and whoever is currently editing this is getting most of the info very wrong.
No, typically the episode titles should run on the in-house Day that the episode aired (i.e. today’s episode is S16, E12, Daily Show, Day 13). This is mentioned in the Notes on the Wikipedia pages for earlier seasons. As a result, the current info for 2025 is inaccurate.I am an editor there and some people still insists that the day even starts on Day 1, so people are reverting the days to Day 1 almost every time.
I think the day indication covers the highlighted day and the present day of the live shows if any, i.e. Episode 1 covers Day 0, Episode 2 covers Day 1 and has live segments from Day 2.

(Most) seasons don’t start with Day 0 because the day the Launch aired is technically Day 1 in real-time. This keeps the rest of the season in check when it comes to live episodes, through to the Finale.
