Episode DAY 10: DAILY SHOW (60m) + CONFIDENTIAL (30m)

I'm hoping Confidential follows a new format this year, instead of being a corny show with silly voice overs.

And stupid shit like "first world problems" and "the visitors". Why would we want to watch shit like that when there are far more important events happening in the house that for whatever reason the producers don't want to show us.

There was literally SO SO much more DEPTH fitted into those 20 minute episodes than what there is now in 60 minute today! It's insane!

I was think that after watching for 60 min i thought so much more used to happen in the old days

I must admit, I laughed at the "First World Problems" that had Michael complaining that a knife that had been used for Vegemite was then used for the jam. The ridiculousness of the complaint combined with his seriousness was funny.

But yeah, overall, it was a stupid segment since the rest of them all sucked.

When BB was at its best the HMs forgot about the cameras; now they are always reminded they are being filmed and they perform rather than just be themselves. The first series was especially great because the HMs didn't truly believe anyone was watching their long mundane days spin out and they became less and less self-conscious. Each of them seemed sincerely amazed upon eviction to see the response they got. Now HMs overestimate the attention they're getting, and since now even dedicated fans don't get to see very much of them at all, it's as if the show has swallowed its tail.

I will be out tonight...(Hamer Hall for an MSO concert...WEEEeeeeeee) so please be as witty, charming, full of insight and sound analysis as usual :D

I am sobbing like Tully for not being there tonight:(

Absolutely! The heart of the show has disappeared.

I would like to se Tim and Sharon get their comeuppance now that they are in the half way house.

I want them to suffer :)

That correct attitude makes your absence from this evening's live rolling bitchfest even sadder:(

I kinda liked the visitors segment on little sister.. But the show was rather bland.
Along with confidential.. But so far I'm enjoying BBAU much more than last year, so I can't complain.
Ill take whatever I can get, and ill appreciate it, dammit.
Long as the cricket thing doesn't take up too much time..

I'm off to trivia tonight guys, so I'm going to miss Big Brother tonight :(

Will catch up when I get home, or like TraLa often has to do, the next day. TraLa (et al) I FEEL YOUR PAIN!

I am going to be so annoyed if they start this episode with the fall out from nominations like they did last year before going back to the start of the day. It is like they are trying to trick viewers into believing they are showing nominations fall out last night at the start of the show and than todays (Wednesday) highlights from the House.

I really, really hope confidential improves but if it doesn't, well I will be fairly pissed off.

I think the only way the ratings will pick up is if the show becomes funny. Not the way I want the show to be but considering 9 are going down this family friendly route, the only way it will appeal to the audience is if it is funny. Last years show all the family's and teenagers found people like Bradley, Michael, Ben, Stacey, and Layla hilarious and that is why is succeeded. This year, I don't think their are anyone housemates except for maybe Ben and at times Tim who appeal to those people.

Remember it doesn't matter if you win or lose, as long as you win.

I am home to enjoy BB in real time tonight! Yay!
