Episode Day 1 (9 Nov 2025) - Launch

The main thing I didn't like about the launch was the HM taping intros in the arched hallway. I miss the old school packages of the HMs in their home cities / native environs which gave you a better idea of their backgrounds. Along with their non-matching luggage, obvious signs of 10's tight budget for this series.

Yeah I will say I feel like I still know nothing about the HM’s after watching their intros twice

Yes totally this. Felt so much less genuine.

Maybe why I am so surprised to learn Coco has three kids; it may have come up if documenting her home life but less relevant when listing just a few (presumably very scripted) traits.

Why were so many people surprised by this? She and Mel literally discussed her having three kids as she was entering the house...

I would rather no intro tbh. It gave me a feeling like they had already been inside the house for that promo stuff and regardless of if they had or hadn't it just felt weird.

Idk I didn’t see it mentioned. I did see Alannah mention it but must have missed it from coco.

It’s not an huge deal at all before anyone asks me why I’m obsessed with this fact lol.
 
Also my biggest problem is that the diary room seems to be located of off the bedroom...
Is it located off the bedroom or am I imagining things?
The diary room is just a place that should be located off a main space.

No, she didn't. That was Allana (45) who blonde bob Coco (30) immediately announced would be her mother in the house. Rude. Coco's intro package was all about how she was a bit vegemite and a bit went a long way, and she would most miss the ocean while in the house. Her interview was about her stupid thongs with heels and then about how she was a glamourous bogan, fish and chips. No mention of the kids.
 
The diary room is opposite the bedroom with a hallway in between that leads to the main house area. But I don't disagree that having the DR more connected to the open living area would be better.

I have an idea: Let's ban the hallways for 2026, it kind of reminds me of Ch7 and I don't like that 😔

If my memory serves me, I think it is across the hallway from the bedroom.
