Yes. As I said in another thread the other day, the logistics, detail and forethought involved in planning something like this is critical. They’ve definitely considered the weather. But to what effect - and what contingency they have in place - is left to be seen.
For tonight, I think they were likely hoping for the best, given the event-style nature of Launch. All things considered, I think they'll give the audience an option to stick around til the storm passes (with producers probably offering prizes or free things as an incentive to stay - they will want the crowd).
Either way, they'll have to complete filming tonight one way or another, even if it means shooting for several hours (and costing them thousands $$ in the meantime). Then they'll just flub the timestamps on the first Launch/Daily Show and proceed as normal from the next morning...
I hope the rain clears asap.

No back up plan is just extremely poor planning. There is so much riding on this.
If the crowd starts to thin they can bring more from the non-stage zones to pad it out so there's that, upgrade for them despite the rain.
What's the vibe among the other audience members? Did they pre-film much of the crowd shots beforehand?

You’d have to feel for poor Mel Tracina, her first ever appearance as a solo host on the network’s biggest project of the year and it’s going A over T.
Who's to stay it still won't... they have Monday, Wednesday and next Sunday as live events... all of which are currently predicted to receive the same or similar amounts of rain.

Each pigeon hole had an amenities kit for each housemate. Unless it’s for aesthetic value, 16 feels like way too many.
