There’s that, as well as this specifically being Launch where they won’t want HMs to leak (lol!), but it’s actually likely to do with how it all looks on TV more than anything else.

We do not want to see a crowd of people on-screen who are watching the stage through their own phone cameras. Actually hardly any show with a live audience permits phones, so it’s not just this one.

Granted, there’s a lot more hype around Big Brother than other filmed shows, so the temptation to leak things is higher. But the rule should still apply regardless. We want to see the audience living in the moment, not disassociating.

100%. Though someone could just park up at the carpark and fly a drone over the set and hover endlessly.

Wouldn't really bother me. We always saw housemates walking down the eviction gangplank and many, many audience members were watching through their digital cameras back in the day too...

VERY different times! The two really aren’t comparable, not least of all regarding technology and the internet.

Even 2012-2014 is vastly different to today.
 
How’s the weather looking?

A quick look online is forecasting quite a bit of rain during the hours of filming… as well throughout the entire week. 🫣
