Currently watching BB7 for the first time

As my username suggests, I'm British, and I've only been watching BB Australia since it returned in 2012. I recently decided to check out some older seasons and went for 2007. I'm up to the start of Week 5 (nominations just after Demet's eviction) and I have to say, I'm currently not getting the Aleisha love.

I understand she's quite a well-liked winner, and I always see her referred to as loveable etc, but all I've seen from her so far is being Emma's loyal shadow, sitting there laughing loudly as she mocks others, reporting back everything she hears from others, etc. A big thing that I didn't like was when she was that Rebecca was crying and went to see what was wrong, then went back to Emma and said how much she was sick of her. To put it bluntly, I'm not finding her especially likeable right now, which is disappointing because I thought I'd like her a lot at the start. Was she always popular even in these earlier weeks, or did something change when Emma was evicted? No disrespect to her of course, I'm watching a 7-year old season and we don't know these people away from the BB house, but those are just what I've taken away from what I've seen so far.
 
She definitely hits her stride once Emma leaves..
I suggest you watch 03, 05 or 06 after 07.... it's so much better in my eyes
 
She was one of Emma's pawns for a long time, but since everything got hyper-focused on Emma one way or another, she didn't suffer as much reputational damage as maybe she should have. Anyway under better influences, a more likeable side of her came to the fore. So I think most people were happy to put it down to immaturity.
 
Yeah, Emma got thought of as some major witch, who put a spell on others, etc.

Some intruder guy (nick I think) even supposedly went in to try and set her straight but he only left his comments for her in a goodbye video.
 
Rebecca slayed, loved ha. I might watch 2003 when I have the time, never seen it before I don't think.
 
Hang in there until the intruders (namely Michelle) come into the house, they stir up alot!! This was probably one of my favourite seasons.
 
07 was definitely my favourite season, & yes, aleisha probably did become more likeable after Emma left
