He played the game, he won the game. Ryan knew it wasn't all just about relying on the public vote (as Tim did last year) - he worked the housemates too (without being obvious about it) and in doing so got the respect of the viewers. Crap series but easily the best winner of the Channel 9 era.

Fortunately for me, my kids hate Big Brother and can't believe I watch it.

There are times when I'm grateful I live alone and can watch anything I want to without being challenged from other residents for tv time. I'm always grateful I live alone really.
