Yeah this is another thing noted when I've been watching BBUK is due to timeslot, how casually they can slot in some Adult topics every now and again, like even the Celeb version.
Although one wonders with that period in 2005 with all the hubbable over some of the discussions apart from the nudity being reviewed by the mediawatch, would they want to go through and stream that all over again. I think I saw a few comments on the chat about how they would handle the Turkey Slap as well, which was never shown on the main show (Adults Only had finished a few weeks beforehand anyway iirc), but was definitely referenced and talked about.
Anyways there was still some interesting content there apart from the perhaps bit gratuitous side of things it had a reputation for I guess.
That's what keeping vote to evict till the end results in. I think now if they did that viewers would be more likely to evict the least deserving winner.

Honestly I think, from what I saw of the BB02 marathon, Carmel was pretty much the only interviewee smart/sharp enough to keep up with Gretel.
Gretel is so quick that you can see most guests are either scared of her or just can't keep up.
But she and Carmel actually seemed to be able to have a laugh on the same level.

I agree, the meta has changed for sure and BBUK has proved that. Had voting switched to vote to win for the final 3 I think Reggie and Aleisha are the only ones who retain their winner status, although Terri still probably has the win handed to her.
Meanwhile Sara-Marie, Marty, Vesna and one of Camilla or Farmer Dave join the Winner's list. BB04 is the only one I'm not so certain about, I can see scenarios where Trevor could still win but I could also see Paul winning, and I wouldn't completly write off Bree in a three way vote to win either.

I think a minor issue may be how poorly 02 and 03 have aged as television products overtime. IDK I just look at 01 so differently amongst the original era even though 03 is the best in terms of innovation and production. I feel like 04-07 is where a lot more people will be interested to join in, especially those maybe my age (mid twenties) who grew up with Friday Night Live.

So true. When I have done rewatches I’ve been more excited about 06 and 07 because I remembered a lot more, and lots of people seem to like 04 and 05, even if they are just thinking back to when it aired.
With Sarah-Marie unfortunately she was also skrewed over by timezones. Being from WA the votes had closed before the finale had even started airing there. It was later revealed that if they had included the votes from WA for the 2 hours after they closed she may have won. In subsequent seasons they had to have large warnings that the votes had already closed in WA on each episode when they were providing the phone numbers for voting.
I just hope they still include what they exclude from the live stream in the individual Playlist uploads. (I’m guessing they’re referring to The Insider, and any other specials.)
I didn't think the Adults Only show had finished by then as I seem to recall Gretel interviewing John and Ashley after they got kicked on it. Unless they actually made a special specifically for them to be talked to?
Anyway it's a bummer if they really think they cant upload it to youtube for whatever reason. Like 9 did an adult show as well that wasn't just about nudity and such.

I remember feeling the same on my rewatch years ago. The pacing issues are not as apparent in the post FNL seasons and tbh although that era's edited daily shows focus more on soap opera style narratives rather than being a voyerstic documentary, the early seasons just take a while to get into. I feel like to enjoy 02 you had to experience it in real time, same with 03 tbh because there are many points where the series feels slow. Although Patrick's birthday is probably BBAU's best ever daily show.

I think people will come back for 2003 and 2004, they're fondly remembered seasons like 2001 was; 2002 was pretty unremarkable

Adults Only was finished by the time of that incident. The last episode was on June 19, 2006. 10 pulled the plug early because it was getting pressure from the government, and it was hurting their push for media reforms. There was a 10-minute special interview with John and Ashley on July 3, 2006, in the Adults Only timeslot, a couple of days after the incident.

Zach had huge save vote numbers the weeks leading up and was first in the betting odds, he would have dominated a vote to win over the weird hybrid vote to evict/vote to save system they had in 2007

He was a rather strong intruder, but I just can't help but feel Aleisha's dominance is understated in the 07 series. The whole 07 being the closest vote is such a contrived idea as Aleisha was comfortably winning with 52% of save votes and 36% of evict votes prior to the initial reveal. Although I was only in primary school at the time and have no idea how what the general feel was.

Jo had a longer term partner of 6 or 7 years but she was going between Patrick, Vincent and Saxon throughout the party trying to kiss them and I think she was even trying to tell Patrick she had feelings for him. It was actually a kind of hard watch.
