I didn't like the sugar sisters either. They were there purely because of the 'sister' gimmick, as individuals they didn't bring much to the BB table. Even if I didn't enjoy them as HMs, it's easy to see they were still nice girls who didn't deserve to be treated the way Tahan treated them. Saying they have "no other emotions" other than happiness is blatantly false, since we saw them cry and be sad and hurt and pissed off. And it's one thing to think they're fake - a lot of people who watched the show think they were disingenuous at times, including me - but it's another for Tahan to constantly punish them for that while letting male HMs who were also acting disingenuous - particularly Ben, Ed, Matt - off the hook in her books. Double standards. She said herself she knew Ed was holding back and not being the real him, but she still did not hold it against him in the vitriolic way she held it against Jade. I maintain that if Katie and Lucy were the exact same personalities but brothers, say they were Kevin and Luke, there is no way Tahan would have been so hateful towards them. No way. And if Ben was a Belinda, you best believe Tahan would have been ranting in the DR about how naive and fake and full of it "she" is, and how she can't wait to beat "her".
Well obviously it was a joke... the joke was "Paying girls is the only way I can have them as friends ha ha ha get it because no girls like me". I'm saying there are so many girls who would love to have Tahan as a friend because she has a lot of good qualities, she just needs to start treating her own gender with the same 'default respect' she gives men. But as long as she's consistently more bitter and bitchy with other girls than she is with guys, as long as she's harsher with girls and harsher on them, girls are going to want to keep her at arms length. And in that case, it's got nothing to do with girls being more sensitive or guys being more laidback, it's got to do with the double standards TAHAN employs in her interactions with, and tolerance of, other people.
